My friend recently worked his way in to a position to manage launch parties at his Best Buy (28th St. in Grand Rapids, btw). Just wanted to let people know about. His goal is to get as many people to come as possible, to show how big gaming is in the greater Grand Rapids area.
He's getting Lore from TankSpot.com to be there. He'll be doing a live podcast from the event, a Q&A, signing and more.
There will be give-aways. For sure a WoW Headset, a WoW Mouse, and some $25 gift cards.
He still working on more stuff for the event, but if you have any sugestion, feel free to throw them out. We want to pack the place. You don't have to have pre-ordered it (but, please do) to show up. Just come and party with other West Michigan WoW gamers.
There is also going to be a LAN area, where you can bring your laptop and play WoW or whatnot with others.
