Kellogg's Kinect Instant Win Game (no online game pieces)

I feel like it's MS's marketing dollars that're causing all these giveaways. That being said, i think it's working. It definitely feels like there's more buzz around Kinect than move.

Move is the same thing as Wii. Nothing different or special that I can think of. However, Kinect is completely different. No controller to hold or fly through your TV screen.

Maybe different in the way you play BUT you are still playing shitty casual party games. Wii Sports = Sports Champions = Kinect Sports.... only Move is the that is more precise then both.

Also similar tech from Wii and PS3 is a good thing for current gen games. For instance Move controls can be applied to PS3 hardcore games such as Killzone 3 or Socom or maybe Dead SPace 2. Same cannot be said about Kinect.

And yes, all these giveaways are due to MS $500 Million Marketing budget.

And there's no buttons to interact with anything. So most stuff has to end up on rails and reduce the game down to a SINGLE interaction. But this isn't the place for this talk.

[quote name='thunder_gamer']Actually,PS2's Eye Toy is similar to Microsoft's Kinetic (type-o, correct name is Kinect), except it did not really took off. In fact, PS2 has a game called Kinetic.

Funny how a little tiny difference in spelling is all it takes to avoid all kinds of legal issues...

Sony PS2 has a game called Kinetic
Microsoft Xbox has a device called Kinect

I, know... Tiny tittle change up there... Dyslexic people are probably still staring at it going... "But its the same thing, man?"...

Who says that someone won't lose their balance or be drunk and just fly through the tv themselves since "You are the controller"?

Someone has already swatted their ceiling fan into the tv.

I always wondered about these mail ins. So I right my info on a 3x5 piece of paper, put it in an envelope and mail it right? And this Kellogg contest will mail back a game piece or two? Thanks.

Lmao, you have to make a purchase to participate or how else can you "look inside" boxes of keebler crackers? I won't be going to jail for shoplifting just to have a chance at winning a kinect.

I wonder how long mailing for an entry will take? (contest over, next day I recieve my free entry)

Nothing againist you A_Gamer this contest just sucks after i took sometime and read the rules.

Darn bought two boxes and wasn't a winner, I was in need of cereal anyways lol

Will try the free way to play through the mail

That's absolutely correct, it won't be the controller flying through the TV screen, it will be a full body experience as you fly into the entertainment stand, the bookcases, the furniture :)
