OK....so my year old 360 arcade system has sorta stopped reading dvd's and game disks. it reads cd's fine, but takes about twenty to thirty minutes of open tray and close tray before it'll read a game disk.

I can't afford to have MS service it, so I'm looking for a Really Cheap way to replace the drive myself.

Anyone know of any deals on replacement drives?

You're going to need to know the type of the drive you have in the system, then do a search for it. Not all systems have the same drive.

it's gonna be a pain in the ass since not only do you have to track down a new drive you have to extract the drive key from the old drive and spoof it onto the new one.
