DS Lite $74.97 at RadioShack B&M

daamnnnn not a bad price at all for a system being clearanced. Wonder if it's as low as it will go, probably not by much more. If I had an extra $75 I'd be all over this b/c my DS Lite white launch unit has a crack in the hinge, and one day in the car, I had it sitting on the seat, slammed on breaks, launched DS lite, now it rattles inside..but still works!

Very tempting to replace my original "fat" DS, but I play it so little as it is... looks like black and silver are available at my local store. Must resist!

I'll have to hit up the Shack down the street today. I'd love to pick up a new 'spare' lite just to ensure I'm able to play my GBA games down the road.
 
Wow. My sister wants to get her two kids DS Lites for Christmas. They're available near her too.... Now to contemplate telling her... She's moving so it'll likely only be another instance of her not being able to invest the cash into getting them...

It's a damn shame they're only available 30+ miles from me :(.
 
Yeah, i have to drive 20 for it, but it's gonna be worth it. Hopefully they still have some when I arrive, and it isn't pink. Screw it, I'll even take a pink.

This is on the front page of $lickdeals, so you should probably drop everything you're doing and go now.

Considering picking up one of these to replace my white DSL from launch that's seen better days (broken hinge). I ordered a replacement casing from dealextreme.com for around ~$9 but this price is tempting for a brand new one...
 
I grabbed a white one for a hundred before Thanksgiving at Radio Shack. Looks like they've expanded the clearance to all colors.
 
I have a black one that works just fine... However the cobalt blue & black one is in stock at mine... Hrm..
 
Wow -- looks like I'm returning the one I picked up from Newegg for the full $129, since I just walked out with one at the Radioshack down the road. Christmas just got a little cheaper :)

Especially since the one d-bag on there said they bought 20 to resell.:roll: But hey, if they have the spare cash to do it I say more power to them. After fees and associated bullshit how much are they really making anyway.;)

If I had already sent out my trades to SecondSpin and got paid I'd be on this in a second, especially with the Blockbuster BOGO sale going on for used games to pick up some cheap stuff to play on it.
 
my crimson lite is still in minty condition and i brought it 2 years ago from craigslist for $60 and only brought two games ever chrono trigger and zelda spirit tracks.

Though any one on the market for one this is the time I'm loving radioshack deals i have to say i picked up 3 silver Sony dualshocks ps3 controllers about 3 weeks ago for $62 for all 3 and hoarded 2 unopened.

Are these prices universal or YMMV? If universal, I'm going to be out the door in 15 mins. when my Radioshack opens, lol.
 
Its universal country wide clearance just like the ps3 dualshock controllers were even better though because this time the in store price is adjusted right online.
But as always i always call and tell them to ring it up and check that link.

I'm hoarding two of the DS3's from the controller/game packs from over a year ago when HWV and GS had $5 game sales and good promos to flip the $5 games in with at the same time. Each controller/game pack cost me $15 worth of games.:D

I'm also hoarding three of the Best Buy Rocketfish branded controllers, which were $10 each on clearance. They're decent and one of the few third party controllers to still work after that frickin' Sony update that borked many of the USB wireless third party ones. Although that could also be because the Rocketfish ones run on Bluetooth like the Sony ones.;)

Total BS....they will probably make $5-$10 a piece. Stupid IMO

True. But folks over there(and some here, including me at times:cry:) think they're gonna make soooo much and it ends up being barely break even after the hassles you face selling stuff.
 
LOL at that coupon, couldn't ya'll just cut that bottom portion off? seems like if the system will take it, then it won't matter..

I use SD as much as I use CAG...but I hate when greedy people ruin it for others.
I just scored a DS and was able to use the $10 (thanks to the person who provided the link) $68 OTD. When I got there, there was an old guy who was buying 3 of them! They also had a couple that they put On hold, so you can actually call your local radioshack and asked them to hold a DS for you, I was told that they can hold it for you for 24 hours
 
My Sis is going to by 3. I recommended her the deal and she was like... "You want one for Xmas?". I was like "Hells Yea".
 
Okay here's the deal guys: I picked up for 4 units (Pink, Crimson, x2 Cobalt Blue). I'd be willing to sell one to a CAG for clearance price + 5 dollars shipping. The rest will most likely be distributed to family :)


EDIT: For those still wondering if it's universal - they are. When I went the Crimson was priced differently from the other colors (weird, yes) but rang up at the clearance price. Cashier was surprised.

TL;DR it's not YMMV.

If you don't have time to go today, you might as well forget it. These were already clearance at $97.00 and change for about a month now. If they had any units left, they will surely be gone today.

Both local stores were sold out, and I got there shortly after opening. Didn't help that one of the douche managers said he had a few units, but he was holding them for customers who had already called.:roll::cry:

Everyone can simply check if their stores have any via the link from the OP - so need to waste gas or anything :)
 
Some people got the silver ones for $64.97....if you don't care about the color, try to find one

Sure. Of course. I would never drive there without checking. But between the time you call, and the actual drive there, many things can happen. One of the workers was ready to sell one to me, but the manager took it from her hands, and said he was saving them for his own personal customers.:roll:
 
Success...nabbed a silver! First store was a no go (even though they indicated in stock) and they said they had quite a few people in the store looking for them. Great deal for a great system. Thanks OP!

Id trade someone two dualshock controllers silver new sealed and maybe even also throw in NCAA football 11 new sealed ps3 for one of these.

And if that were me, I would've been immediately asking for the number for corporate and making a call to them about a manager holding stock.

This happened to me a bit during the last Hollywood Video $5 sale. I was there right after opening the first morning of the sale and I saw a HUGE stack of games behind the counter. I asked about them and was told they were 'being held for people who were supposed to be there soon to get them'.

So I made a bit of a stink since the opening time had passed and no one besides me had showed up and they gave a good portion of those 'reserved' games up.

It wasn't until later that I found out it was another local CAG who had asked for games to be put aside for him and that I gave the clerk the impression that I was gonna 'get her in trouble' for holding stuff for people.

Unless you're there at store opening EVERYONE should have the same chance at these deals, meaning there should be no 'holding games/systems aside' for anyone.
 
I've had my DSL for over five years (at least I think it's been 5 years, I have a launch system)... it's still going strong. I think I might need a new battery soon (doesn't seem to last more than 2-3 hours these days but I haven't given it a full charge in a long time).

Can't beat Nintendo's hardware quality.:D
 
Found a few here in Buffalo, was able to use the $10 coupon and picked up one for a Xmas gift. Also saw a 120 360 elite for $125 and a PSP-3000 for $80.
 
wow, pretty good deal. It would cost you about $80 just to have your DS fixed by Nintendo (shipping included). I might just pick one up if they still have them since I'm lookin at my broken hinge and less responsive touch screen. That's what happens when you let your cousin borrow your stuff.

Yep! I was able to pick one up at this price and use the $10 off coupon! My total was $59 after tax.
