need help guys! how much to ship a xbox 360?

has anyone shipped a new system out before? did you use usps or ups? how much was it? i would think something heavy would cost alot to ship. im asking because i wanna select an ideal price to list on ebay for a new xbox 360 but i dont wanna come out losing money. any info would be helpful. thanks!

It cost me $22 through UPS ground with insurance ($500) and signature confirmation to ship one recently. The buyer was only a state away though.

Try one of the flat-rate boxes from USPS. If it fits in a medium one, that would be about 11 dollars. The large ones are $14.50. Basically, it doesn't matter the weight of the object. What ever you fit in the box, those are the prices you pay to ship. It think insurance on an xbox would be around 5 bucks. Shipping confirmation would be .80. Look on USPS website for the flat-rate boxes and you can see the dimensions on it to see whether or not it will fit in a medium flat rate box, because if it does, that would probably be the best value. If it fits in the medium box, it should come to $16-18 depending on how much insurance you want on it (or under $12 w/o insurance, but that is a risk, not a huge risk, but it still is non the less).

no just the 4gb console. im selling because i thought i would be able to find a good price on an official microsoft 250gb hard drive but there is nowhere online selling one for a reasonable price thus me selling this to just break even to get a 250gb console.
