Gamecube
mario kart: DD
super smash bros Melee

PSOne
Crash Team Racing
Blast Chamber

I'm looking to expand my party games collection especially since I just got a GC.

BigNick beat me to it. Definitely Fuzion Frenzy, Poy Poy (PS1), Kung Fu Chaos and any one of those Pokemon Battle games on N64.

To this day my friends and I break out the N64 for some four player games of Dr. Mario. The Mario Parties make good Drinking games. Pound a beer if you get a red space, etc.

Super Monkey Ball. Mine used to be Super Smash Bros but I find this game to be just better on the super awesome level. (I'd say SMB 2 but I have yet to play the game and am looking to buy it cheaply later.)

The original Mario Party as well as StarFox 64 and Mario Kart 64. Can you tell I hit my game party prime a few years back? ;)

Melee is awesome unless you have someone who can destroy everyone every time (my skill may be rusty, but I spent over 500 hours playing that game)In the backround I always like hearing:

"Roys our Boy!!!"

That way my friend knows I am kicking the shit out of him

Beach Spikers is a simple but really fun game as well

anyone suprised?[/quote]

nice burn...

Rush 2049 on the deamcast, fantastic party game. No load times too.

My favorite 4-player games are Super Smash Bros. Melee for GC, Power Stone 2 and Chu Chu Rocket for DC. Super Monkey Ball and Mario Party 4 are good too.

no offense to anyone but all the people who suggested fusion frenzy, have you played mario party? I mean, I played mario party first and then tried fusion frenzy. It was.....very boring. I guess it's not fair to compare like the 4th incarnation to a first.

Super Monkey Ball 2 is very fun.
Tetris on dreamcast was awesome too, 4 players.
Virtua Tennis 2k2 is good as well

I am amazed that noone has said Goldeneye. I had more multiplayer fun with this game than any other, even up to this day.

Worms World Party
Mario Party 5
Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
Guilty Gear Isuka (when it comes out, I know it'll love it)

Wow,

Ok Tennis 2k2 for Dreamcast is great fun and easy to learn.

Actually Wario World is pretty damn fun. If you get someone that is prone to seizures DONT let them play this game. Seriously.

What about Mario Party 4

Hunter the reckoning isnt to bad if its a bunch of guys. Although others watching would be bored.

Fuzion Frenzy is my favorite.

One thing that annoys me with NBA Street Vol 2 is that you can't switch guys when you are playing 2 vs 2. I'd have greatly preferred being able to switch to whoever your team-mate isn't currently controlling in that mode (or at least having it as an option) It's still fun with 4 despite this.

Did anyone else play Samba de Amigo on the Dreamcast? When you had two sets of maracas going, shaking along to the song, it was great fun. The other modes were pretty cool too: battle mode was decent, love mode was lacking, but the mini games were the best for parties. Guacamole, the whack-a-mole incarnation, was really fun.

I remember the first night I had Samba, I played for around four hours. My arms were sore for days after that...

Poy Poy (ps1) IS A MUST..my favorite all-time old school party shiznit....Power Stone for DC....Samba de Amigo (...MUST HAVE MARACAS...)I agree with u Wet ninja but how in the hell did u get 2 sets of maracas when it seemed everyplace barely had 1....Mario Golf...Tiger Woods 2004...Hot Shots Golf 3...NBA Street Vol. 2....CTR: Crash Team Racing for PS1...

It was the day it came out. I callled around and found a Gamestop in Richmond, VA that had two sets of maracas. I was at college an hour away at the time, and I had class until late that afternoon, so I couldn't pick them up. I called my mom, and she swung by and picked them up for me before they sold. That evening, I drove an hour to Richmond to meet her to pick up the maracas, and then an hour back to college. It was definitely worth the drive, even though it was a weeknight and I had homework.

Worms 100%...

its up to 16 players! The new one can support up to 24!!!! Also you only need ONE controller...since you pass the controller around you can still hang out talk and drink yet have the game running and people just chilling waiting to take a turn
