Yes, but it has got alot better. Lets hope it dont end up like the Halo Reach Beta. It took me forever to find a game.

Be warned. I do not know if Walmart has the Standard Edition or Epic Edition. So far only Amazon has confirmed anything. But if Walmart does have the Epic Edition with a $10 Gift Card that is a decent deal. But you know how Amazon works they may put a Gift Card on their deal later on. So I would Preorder from Amazon for now. I mean you could always change it later on if a better deal comes up. Like me I had the Standard Edition of Halo Reach on Preorder at Gamestop but when Amazon "Goofed" on the Legendary Edition's price and lowered it to $59.99 with a $20 Gift Card I canceled my Preorder at Gamestop and went to Amazon.

I'm pretty sure Epic Edition will be the first print.

You are probably right. Just look at what EA did with Bad Company 2 and Medal of Honor. I will post any information I find and give you credit.
 
Well I have a 20$ GC at Walmart, making this "essentially" $30, but the problem is I'm going to be upset when I dont have the beta...Hmmm, I shall wait another month and see.

EDIT : Kmart has a $20 GC with it I believe

Gears of War is an Xbox 360 Exclusive. With the exception of the first game being made for Windows.

I've been waiting for Bulletstorm to show up in my gold box, but figured I might as well finally preorder it since I have $25 in promo credits from other game purchases. It's sort of odd that Gears of War still has a $20 promo credit despite the game being delayed, while Amazon still won't put one on Bulletstorm. Oh well, that's sales & marketing people for you. ;)

Gears of War 3 sounds tempting as that's my first Xbox 360 game....I haven't read up on Bulletstorm. How is it in terms of gameplay?

@Brother Daz - I know I was also.

@shurija - I dont know I have not seen many videos or anything about it. I saw the trailer and a few screenshots it looks to be ok. Im interested in the Kill With Skill stuff where you can kill your enemy in alot of different ways. If you want a little bit of information you can always read some of stuff on the link below. There is not alot of stuff to read on this site but it gives you a idea of what you might expect.

I'm just not expecting much from Epic, that way they can't disappoint me. High hopes for Gears 3 though as it will be the flagship holiday game to get next year, but this game, meh, I'm sure it'll be pretty decent but I just need a good playable WORKING Gears fix.

Pretty much the only thing they needed to do to sell me on it. I swear, Gears 1 and 2 were great games but just so utterly ruined by the lag and glitches. Now here's hoping they iron out all those clunky glitches too...
 
Bulletstorm appears to only have a co op multiplayer component, as in, no competitive multiplayer. May be a deal breaker for some that aren't in it for the Gears 3 beta. That could change come January but I highly doubt it. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I think what he means to say is that Gears of War was the first Xbox 360 game he played. Correct me if I am wrong. But it could be took two ways.
 
Does the Epic Edition only come with the Gears of War 3 beta? I want to get this on the PC and don't know what all the Epic Edition comes with.

If you get it for PC I dont think you will get access to the beta because of Gears of War 3 being an Xbox 360 Exclusive just like Gears of War 2 was. But as far as the other content that comes with the Epic Edition like the Boots, Weapons, and Points. That is for all platforms. The only exception of course is the Xbox 360 version which includes everything PLUS the Beta. Hope I answered your question.

Gamestop is also listing the "Epic Edition" for Xbox. No Limited Edition for PS3 yet, though I bet theyre all the "limited edition" because if you look at the PS3s description it lists the limited edition extras. Would be nice if theyd throw the Gears beta in the PS3 version as well since im getting it for that but also own an Xbox. Booo...

i've had it pre-ordered at best buy for a while and i'll loose my $20 promo credit if i cancel. i hope they get the epic edition in for those who pre-ordered. their site does not say anything about the epic edition.
