Transaction with StripesOrBars

We had just agreed on a deal and he flaked out the next day. I'm not really concerned with that but now I see that he is "silenced"? Does that mean banned? I looked up his most recent posts and don't see anything out of the ordinary; did I almost trade with a scammer or?

I just completed a trade with him; super nice guy IMO. I was worried about his status when I noticed it yesterday. My advice would be to wait it out until he's able to post again instead of possibly slandering the poor guy on accident.

I've never personally made a trade with him, but never noticed him to be anything other than an upstanding member of the community. Probably just got put on a quick time-out for whatever reason, I'm sure you've got nothing to worry about and whatever reason he had for backing out was a good one.

Silenced = not able to post on the site though can use the site, can't respond to PMs
Temporarily banned = not able to use the site, can't respond to PMs

He wasn't silenced due to any issues with trades, so it's nothing to worry about in that respect. He'll be back shortly and then you can pick up from where you left off.
