Credit to dmzauk for posting it in the points thread, but I thought it deserved its own thread. He got it from SD so who knows how long it'll last.

edit: it just went front page at SD. Grab it before the locust descend.

Unless you have amazon credit or a walmart far away from you to pick up, just buy it before the SDers snatch them all up.

At least for me, there's no tax on the purchase and regardless, Site-To-Store shipping was free, so that's a no-brainer for ordering three.

Ended up getting 4800 points for $34.88, as I had a $10 e-gift card from an older order where Walmart.com cancelled one of the items. Great deal, thanks OP! :applause:

Thanks OP. Ordered one for myself. My son wanted one (he's paying for his own), so I ordered a second one for him.

Submitted to Amazon as a lower price. Hopefully they'll match.

Got 2. Do they actually make you wait for them to ship it to the store? You can't just go in and pick them up off the rack?

Yeah, and shipping is really slow.

But who cares? Great deal, I got 3.

In for 3, site-to-store so no shipping costs. Thanks for the heads up.

Looks like everyone ordered 3.

Anyway, no reason to wait/hope for Amazon pricematch if you're near a Wal-Mart and aren't charged tax.

Got 1. had about $10 left on a Walmart gift card from Christmas, so 5.00 out of pocket for 1600 points and Torchlight on the horizon sounds good to me. :)

Yeah, but it can't hurt to submit the price to Amazon w/ the 'lower price' link. Walmart = real money, Amazon = credit. I ordered from Walmart, but will buy more if Amazon matches.

Go to the Amazon product page:
http://www.amazon.co...s/dp/B000B9RI14

Scroll down until you find the "tell us about a lower price", click on the link and fill in the info, one of which will be the URL to the Walmart item on Walmart.com.

Darn you CAG. I already spend too much on games, but you keep relentlessly bombarding me with awesome deals which I lack the willpower to pass up.

*sigh*, in for 3 like everyone else. And told a friend.

LOL, IF you're near a Wal-Mart... How can anyone not be? Frikkin' places are everywhere.

Just wondering guys, if you buy points on sale, do you buy games/dlc at regular price (400,800,etc.) or wait til a sale comes up (ie. dotw, unpublished point drops, etc.)

For me, I buy points when they're on sale and purchase things when they go on sale at the marketplace.

Myself also, in addition, as well. Unless it's something I really want.

They had a ton of deals around Christmas, so I cleaned up with my 4000-for-$25 Toys R Us points, and still have some left. Can always check CAG for upcoming deals so you don't buy something right before it goes on sale.
