ordered dead space 2 from gamestop do i get dead space extraction free

i ordered dead space extraction via gamestop i learned you get dead space extraction free by pre ordering it from just about any retailer but im still not sure if they include it with the game when its shipped or they
e-mail it to you. anyone else pre order it from gamestop?

Hey. just pre-ordered my CE from Amazon, and got the code instantly. You may want to check them out instead. Unless you have GS credit to burn, of course.
 
i preordered from gamestop last week. you get the ignition code in the email a day or 2 after you place the order. damn game is boring as hell though and one of the mini games is a serious chore to play.

im hoping it is because i went through hell forcing my way through ignition. 2 of the mini games were kinda fun though. cant wait to use that nail gun too.
 
Will have to get the Rivet Gun from someone who doesn't want it. Does the code print on the receipt, or could I just ask for one?

i think they email that to you as well im assuming once the game ships.

If possible, you can also preorder from amazon and then cancel it after getting the code

oh i see. not sure then id call them up and ask you may get lucky and find someone there who knows what theyre doing.
 
i live in canada and i ordered DS 2 CE from the american gamestop site because the canadian site was out of copies, but anyway i discovered one thing on the canadian site they guarantee it to the online shoppers yet the american site only validates it to in-store customers, i called a local gamestop to see if i could reserve a copy he said they dont do that anymore (im hoping he just ment they dont do it via telephone) have i been duped?

I don't about the canadian GS site, but the U.S. stores have a cut-off date on pre-orders. It's make sure that they get enough copies in. Which it's usually a week before it comes out, so it would make sense that they told you that. Since it's coming out next week.

OK I thought Dead Space 2 on PS3 was going to be the "limited edition" for $60 that had Extraction on the disk similar to what happened with Medal of Honor "limited edition" having Frontline on the disk. Then there was the $80 Collector's Edition that had the replica plasma cutter, etc. that I'm not concerned about.

I canceled my Gamestop preorder because I had a Target gift card left from Christmas. When I go to Target next week, will that copy have Extraction on the disc?

from what someone told me here on cag the first batch ( however many that is) of the 60 ds2 game will come with ds2 and extraction. i think itll be 2 disks in total. id assume all stores will be selling those types of copies until they run out but if you want to be sure email ea about it or call target.

Correctemundo! Also, Extraction is confirmed for a PSN release.
