Fantastic game. I don't even regret the 59.99 I paid for it.

In the same boat as this poster. Keep hearing way too many good things about this game to not check it out. Thanks Cheapy...

I guess I'm in the minority but I didn't like that game. I played an hour into it and I just couldn't get into it so I didn't even think it was worth the $20 I spent.

Maybe that's why, because you probably didn't even get past Chapter 2 or 3. People should withhold their opinions on something unless they actually "play" a game.

I dunno, maybe it's just me, but I can't see how anyone could have a valid opinion on a game after just an hour, especially a game such as Enslaved.

Lol. Ok well I played it all the way to the end and I couldn't get into it either. That better? I even paid the extra $10 for 3D, immersion and all, and I still couldn't get into it. +1 for validity!

I got this on Xbox during the Kmart sale and liked it a lot. Very short - perhaps 8 hours to play through for me on Normal - but great looking with a very good story with excellent acting by Andy Serkis and company. The controls feel very sluggish in movement for the first couple of hours, but you learn to compensate for them; they never got me killed. Platforming is extremely linear, but the alternative would've been to let Monkey fall to his death or be lost wondering what to do in the complicated environments.

I think it might be a better rental for some gamers since there's not much to do after beating it other than taking another run to sight-see. I've got too much backlog to do that and have it on my sale/trade list here, but I recommend it heartily. I think I liked Heavenly Sword more because Nariko is hella hot and it's longer, but Enslaved was pretty good. I'd give it an 8.3 out of 10.

Playing a game for 1 hour is enough for me. I'm not going to hold out on a game that isn't very interesting for that much longer.

I didn't like it. The story was average at best, but nowhere near as good as the hardcore Andy Serkis fanboys would have you believe. Or maybe it just seems better than it really is since the gameplay is so lacking. The on-rails platforming and boring combat make this a game that will wear on your patience constantly. The game was an absolute chore to complete, even though it's relatively short. By the end of it, you might just prefer doing the dishes or taking out the trash. Seriously, this game will increase your appreciation of housework. They should put a "Mom Approved" sticker on the front.

Anyways, you're better off watching the cutscenes and avoiding the gameplay entirely. I give it a generous 6.5/10.

Got this at Kmart a few weeks ago for $14.99. I just started it a few days ago. I've only played through like 1 1/2 chapters, but I'm liking it a lot so far.

As long as you played it to the end, then that's fine. Most games don't even get good until a few hours in, it would be like playing Oblivion and only getting out of the sewers and saying "I played the game for an hour, and just reached the end of the sewers. This game sucks, I'm not going to play anymore".

I'm just an advocate of at least giving a game a few hours, even if you're not initially gripped... but to each his own, I suppose, I just like giving everything a fair chance. I guess the same does not hold true for everyone.

If this price is only five dollars off the previous price of 20 bucks, then I think it'll drop even farther than 15 dollars in the near future.

So yeah, i'll wait.

just a heads up guys. This is only 20 bucks at stores like bestbuy, and walmart and stuff. and there you get their exclusive outfits. I think Walmart gives you a new skin for monkey and bestbuy gives you some sexy outfit for trish.

for the 5 bucks you may want to just get the extra DLC stuff

If it were some extra levels for $5 more I'd say that'd be a deal, but stuff that'll likely be put up on PSN/XBL for free eventually is not worth $5 more. Oh and the girls name is Trip. Though I couldn't even remember her name when telling people at GS that I just finished the game as I was buying something there when they suggested it.

Bought it when it was on sale for $40 and played the hell out of it. Traded it in but glad to pay this price for a crack at the DLC and a hard playthrough. Game is awesome if you liked Heavenly Sword.

Thing is, I HATED Heavenly Sword for one reason: LACK OF A fuckIN' JUMP BUTTON!! That's where this game at least fixed the main issue HS had imo.

On the fence. Can anyone compare this game to any other out there to win me over?

The climbing is almost identical to Uncharted's, except just a tad quicker and it gives you a little more flexibility. Combat reminds me of Beyond Good and Evil.

Couldn't resist this deal since I had credit and Prime.
Only problem is I have no clue when I will get to this game, it may just sit shrink wrapped for a little while.

Same, my backlog is insane, crap sitting all over the place I haven't even open so I can wait until it is $10 or even cheaper.

The DLC is still $10, will wait for the XBL eventual discount around 33-50% off.

This is what I'm waiting on. When I can get the dlc at a discount i'll go ahead and buy the game. It's likely that at that time the price will be equal to this or cheaper.

Seems like a great deal. Also the trade in value is $7 so you could get ~50% of your money back.
