when i was at the checkout screen i see the congratulations message showing the $15 credit. during this time they removed the $15 credit off on the product page. i already placed my order. how can i tell if i get the $15 credit?

this is exactly what happened to me, credit was showing on final page and i guess it was removed before i pushed the confirm button and theres no mention of it in my confirmation email. anyone have a screencap of the credit before it was removed or know if that final page is stored in my browsers cache?

Thanks for the heads up. I ended up getting it for $26.96 because I bought it right after the $15 credit disappeared. The first agent said there was no history of any promotions for the game, which I knew was incorrect. So I hung up. The second customer service agent decided to take the easy route with me and just give me a $15 refund instead making it $26.96. It all depends who you talk to.

Wth, I ordered it. I made sure to put my shipping to free shipping so it wouldn't process right away like it does with Amazon Prime. I wanted to see if they would add the $15 promotion to my order since I emailed them about it a minute after it vanished. Twenty minutes later, my order cannot be canceled because its being prepared for shipping.

Update: I decided to use chat this time. They said I've checked this for you and see that this item is eligible for a promotional credit worth $15. This promotional credit code will be e-mailed to you once the order is shipped.
I don't see how they will email me the promotion since it is not in my invoice like normally. But the agent did confirm I should receive it. We shall see.
I also got him to change my order back to 2-day shipping cause of Amazon Prime.

Wow, I'm liking the aggressive pricing for the game releases this week, too bad I don't have that much to spend. I'm putting my $40 towards Yakuza 4 at Best Buy and that's all I'm spending for this week for games.

If that credit was still in effect though, that would have tipped the scales in favor for Homefront. I don't really feel like dealing with CS reps though.

i missed this deal, but called customer service and claimed it was in my cart and then the bonus vanished. the first one said sorry but i can only give you 5 off your next purchase, then i called again, she told me to order it and shed apply a credit. so i got 5 off the 42 then i checked and im due for another 15 off my next order of anything.

It hardly ever is any more with Amazon credit deals, or with price matches. You can get it for console now and get it from Steam at Christmas when it will probably be $10.

Amazon already had a $15 future credit in place before the pm, hence the small pocket of time it was available on top of the pm...

Well, like many of you, mediocre reviews and less than 48 hours later a major price drop happened, I was seriously irked about this pre-order game purchase .. so I decided to call Amazon and bitch about it (even though I was very nice about it).
