Hi there, I'm new to Toronto and Canada for that matter having moved here at the start of the year. I was wondering where the best place to pick up a GBA SP would be? Do Gametop or EB Games carry the console anymore? Will I be ripped off going to a retro gamestore? Thanks in advance!

I've seen GBA SPs pop up every now and then at Gamestops; used obviously. They'll be 20 bucks Canadian (about 20 American :p).

I don't think they differentiate between SP regular (front lit) or SP+ (backlit screen) but if you ask, they may let you open the plastic bag to let you check. Otherwise, check up on which colours are which and hope it's a colour and screen of your preference.

PS: NES SPs are only front lit if you're looking into those.
