If you have to type that, then it's probably too late.

Not really. I had to type that because some take offense easily to a differing opinion and run to hit the report post button before doing anything else.If you have to type that, then it's probably too late.

Looks like Fallout: NV is still $17.99 used. Going to hopefully stop by one today and pick up a copy.

I doubt we'll see a GOTY edition that quickly, if at all. There's only been one DLC since the release in October 2010, and the next DLC doesn't appear to have a firm release date yet, and rumor was there were eight planned.I would say its a permanent drop since the inevitable Game of the Year with all the DLC version should be coming out by fall.

B2G2 was an exciting thought but it wasn't that good because most stores "threw" away the cases and instructions. (now you see them on ebay). I don't really understand why they did it - the cases didn't take up that much space and now they have the disc only games in small bins at the counter that almost no one knows about or browses through. They should've ran the sale before getting rid of them.

Question: I saw Zelda Wind and zelda Master Quest for GC. If I buy it, can I return it to another gamestop with no problems? I was thinking about paying in Cash. (Do they ask for info.,etc)
The cases are in near mint.

If you bought it from their website or their stores, you can return it to any one of their stores.

Of the stuff I ordered online, my local Gamestops had everything I needed in store with the exception of 2 games, which I simply swapped out for two different games of equal value. It was a hassle free process. And to think you doubted my god-like CAG skills, LOL!

I made another legendary in store haul on the 24th for 12 more games as I waited for the games above to arrive. Gamestop shipping was exceptionally fast. Order was placed on Thursday and the entire order arrived on Monday with the exception of one game. As you can see, Gamestop online sucks for shipping complete games. It's a bet for sure, but one that I had no concerns about making as my local Gamestops don't sell many Gamecube/PS2 games, sale or not.

howd u swap them? just asked for an exchange? or to switch the boxes? or return/rebuy and kept the original boxes? i've never done it before and i wanna know whats the best way to go about it
Posted 28 April 2011 - 04:21 AM
They just let me swap the boxes and instructions. No credit cards scanned or return/rebuy needed. You just need to have your packing list for proof of purchase. You only have 7 days from the time the product is received to do the swaps.

so i should just tell them that i bought them and received them this week and ask if i could swap the cases and get the manuals? also, for in store purchases, i could do the same?
Posted 28 April 2011 - 04:55 AM
No need to tell them when you bought them, the date is on the packing slip. For in store purchased they have to be done at the store you bought them from. Online purchases can be done at any store. One store gave me a Metal Gear Substance 3 disk instead of Substance 2. Went to a different Gamestop today to get the correct game and they said I had to go to the store I purchased the game from as it would screw up their inventory. A complete disrespect of my time in favor of their bullshit policy. As if an online return wouldn't screw up their inventory as well, LOL. I guess Gamestop corporate is willing to put stupid policies in place which will result in pissing off customers for a loss of sales. After spending over $300 in two days at Gamestop, I won't be pre-ordering anything from them for awhile. Amazon will get my business. Also they charged my card 3 times for 2 orders that were the same amount, one of which was canceled so I'm still having them sort that out through emails.
