I've been noticing this for a while and it is finally starting to bug me. Whenever the forums go down and you get sent to the error page, the word apologize is spelled "apologise". I know that seems silly, but this site is getting pretty big now and little things should be perfect.
I believe both spellings are in the dictionary.
Touche. I'll take your comment into consideration.

I'm with repetske on this one.

"Apologise" is a British variant of "apologize" the way "honour" is a British variant of "honor." It might be OK to use it but it bugs me too.

I apologize Cheapy.

Maybe we should have a poll... ;)

The extra "u" always annoyed me to, but lately I find myself using it more often. Just yesterday I spelled "behavior" "behaviour". Also I've been spelling "theater" "theatre" for a while.

Isn't it theatre?
