Thanks for the heads up. I've been debating whether or not to drive down to Best Buy for the $20 deal for the past couple of days. No more debate.

I would guess it should be registrable there, as my copies of Dead Space 1 and Dragon Age: Origins that I bought from Gamersgate were both able to be registered through EADM (well, Origin now).

EDIT: Yes, DS2 is registrable on EADM/Origin.

Strongly tempted, the game will probably only go as low as $10 this year anywhere else. However, I've been buying way too much stupid crap recently, I probably shouldn't.

If you have a choice, go with the PC version. I have them on both and it's night and day on graphics and framerate. If you must have Extraction, then PS3 version is the one to get.

Just a heads up while Extraction on ps3 supports the gamepad the controls are awful and sluggish. Just not fun. Move IMO required for Extraction. Plus don't write the Wii version off. It actually looks pretty amazing for a Wii title and the controls are perfect. Not to mention you get audio logs and such through the wiimote speaker.

Nice, grabbed it, downloading through Origins now, thanks OP.

Time to either sell my PS3 version on Craigslist or trade in at BB for $30

Does anyone happen to know, with the PS3 LE, even a buyer getting it used can play extraction from the disc right? They just have to rebuy the multiplayer key correct?
Tempting, but the Steam sale should be in a few weeks at most.
I wouldn't count on Steam getting a better sale than this. EA's not too friendly to Steam these days.

I wonder what the Origin (TM) of that unfriendliness might be...
This part makes me a little nervous:

Honestly, it's not much different than EA's other games which usually use the Securom w/ online activation, install limits and revokes allowed technology.
