WWE/UFC DVDs $5 at Wal-Mart

WatTsu

CAGiversary!
Hey, this might not be something for everyone but at the local Wal-Mart they had some WWE and UFC discs in their $5 bin. Not much of a selection, of course, but here's what I saw for WWE stuff:

Edge: A Decade of Decadence (3-Disc)
Trish Stratus: 100% Stratusfaction
The Monday Night War

Apologies, I didn't get much on the UFC stuff primarily because I'm not terribly interested in it. I saw a Chuck Liddell DVD, though. I figure this stuff doesn't pop up in the $5 bin much, so if you're interested it could be worth it, especially for that Edge set.

Edit: This might be YMMV in terms of what titles you could get and whether your store would have them. If they have them, they'll probably be in the big bin in Electronics with the $5 sign over it.

Did you like Monday Night Wars? I've wanted to see it (and it sounds great for $5), but I'm worried about Vince's "revisionist history". Read an excellent book on the subject though.

Thats a steal for the Edge set. Great watch too. I already have all 3 of the ones you listed though OP so not going to go rush out there. lol. If anyone else reports any findings though.......

Still need to get:

John Morrison 2 disc
Batista 3 disc
Big Show 3 disc
Ricky Steamboat 3 disc
History of Wrestlemania 3 disc

I'd give it 3/5 and at $5 it's worth it. While the documentary aspect of it could have been a bit better/in-depth it's still good; that and Cornette alone is worth the $5. It's hard to say for sure if they intentionally tried to down play Nitro's impact, personally I think they did, but it's not too too bad. Worst thing about it is Briscoe and his ass kissing nature.

I was looking for the Piper DVD but didn't feel like digging through the huge bin. Saw the Trish DVD.

Also saw a couple of UFC DVDs like Rampage Greatest Hits and Ultimate Knockouts 7.

Monday Night Wars is worth $5. Sure there is some bias towards WWE, but I still found it interesting.

EDIT: wallmart.com has some $5 wwe DVDs with free shipping to store. The Bret Hart set is awesome.
