Using inFAMOUS disc saves with downloadable version

ObiBen

CAGiversary!
Over the weekend I downloaded my free games from the Welcome Back program. I downloaded inFAMOUS since I thought it would be nice to have on the hard drive and I could unload my disc copy. When I booted up the downloadable version it was like starting the game for the first time. It did not recognize the game saves I already have. This could be because I downloaded inFAMOUS on my EU account, but I'm not sure. I was just wondering if any other CAGs were having this problem, and if anyone has any tips on getting my saves to work. I would rather not start the game over for a third time.

That's a good point. Hadn't thought of that.

From my experience, the disc based games that are available on the PSN share save data with the exception of Burnout Paradise. I've tested this on LBP, Infamous, and Borderlands.

different regions are locked and DLC won't be compatible either.

Trophy sets aren't different.
Saves are.

I downloaded the EU versions of LBP and Infamous, and my saves don't cross.
