M&M's Kinects Sweepstakes.

That one seemed kinda fishy to me so I looked up the register to the domain, his address:
10 Warren Street,APT A, White Plains, New York 10603

Google map it...

What do you mean?

Collecting data for ?? Not sure but anyone can register a domain, make a fake site and collect your info. I love entering in these things (tho I never win) but some of these urls make me double guess if they are real. This one I looked up the register and it's some guy in Apt A in White Plains NY. To me, that says fake. I would expect the register and/or address to be either M&Ms or Circle K.

I was going to enter, until I read your post. You're right, that is a fishy address. I went to the m and ms official site and found no mention of this sweeps. In fact, the official m and ms site has four different sweeps listed at the bottom of the first page, that makes it even fishier. Went to the xbox site. No mention either. I think this is fake too.

ha, prob just end up with more spam. I don't enter in my birthday unless I know it's a real thing too, they can steal stuff now using that as well. Well if you have an issue down the road take note of the guys address. Run a whois on the domain name (registered at godaddy) to get his name, might even have a phone.

Well, it's going through a lot of hoops to register with a text to win phone contest company as well, though, I guess it's possible. 97979 has been a frequent text number which you will see in the link in the OP. I found this from another contest site and shared with everyone who visits the T2W thread. I'm not a 'net detective, so I didn't look up all the info. There's also a Kinect contest 'sponsored' by M&M's where the page looks identical. If this is bogus, I apologize. If there's a problem I found this on another MMS sweeps rules page that maybe someone wants to look into (I'm at work all day, so I can't at the moment):

11. SPONSOR: Mars Chocolate North America, LLC, 800 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
12. QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS GAME/SWEEPSTAKES? Call 877-550-7155 or send an email to [email protected].

I don't think this is a scam as i recall seeing this on the Xbox dashboard not too long ago. The registered address could be whatever company is running the contest?

Ugh, I'll be pissed if this is a scam since I signed up for it just after the thread was posted.
You guys should check things before you post them >_

Thanks man. I'll keep that in mind.

I looked it up on godaddy (http://who.godaddy.com/whois.aspx?domain=mmssweeps.com&prog_id=GoDaddy) and here is what I got:
so if this MMS/circlek/ is a scam then so is the 90 day one. at just MMS/kinect
Probably, it's just the same site in a different color. the creator of this thread should warn users of this site too.
Ok cool, odd that they would have some guy in NY register the domain?
Maybe he's some CEO person.

My guess is that the White Plains address is a fulfillment house for the sweepstakes and is perfectly legit. Of course, we'll never know if that's true unless someone calls up Mr. Andreana and asks him. Any takers?
