Just subscribe to the PlayPack for $10 by July 4th and you get a code to redeem any currently released game on Onlive.

This basically makes new games like Duke Nukem Forever, FEAR 3 or Red Faction: Armageddon cost $10.
We’ve also got some love for people who subscribe to PlayPack—the all-you-can-play monthly game bundle: On Tuesday we’re going to send every one of our current PlayPack Members a thank-you gift! Choose any game in the OnLive store—absolutely free (no pre-orders though). If you’re not already a PlayPack member it’s not too late to get in on this, but you’ve got to act before midnight Pacific time on July 4th.
Don't see why not, since the Playpack is just the all you can eat package and your account is free. Got me seriously considering this, but not sure what I'd get for free.

Sold. These Onlive deals are just too good to pass up. First a console for $10 now any game for $10? I wonder how long the code will be good for?
When you unsubscribe can you continue playing your free game?
YEs, the code is used for a game on the service of ONLIVE, not just the playpack. So if you choose to use the code with a game such as FEAR 3 then its tied to your account, and you can have a free account to browse games, watch people play, etc. :) I love onlive,

Hmm, but what game to get? Red Faction Armageddon? Duke Forever? Hmm... great deal I just don't think I'd play it over Steam/Xbox.

Hell, I can't even get anyone in my house to play split second that I paid 20 bucks for. I don't know what I would invest 10 bucks in now. That reminds me, I still have a 50% off coupon from getting SS that I haven't even used.

What is the cheapest good game on there?

DNF for $10? Yes, please! Thanks OP

By the way...Do we not get the free game code till Tuesday or does it come as soon as you sign up?

Sweet deal, i might have to jump on this deal too.:D
Onlive also tweeted some coupons yesterday incase anyone missed them.

New Members 50% off code: NEWMEMBER50
Existing Members 30% off code: 4JULY30
And those codes are only good for non-sale items this weekend (one redemption per customer, not good on pre-orders either). Enjoy!

EDIT: A quick reminder the pure and split/second 50% off codes expire tonight July 3, 2011 (11:59 PM PST)

OK. I might just sign up for playpack just to get the free game. Which is the best of the new games to pick up for my freebie? Considering the reviews, I don't want Duke Nukem.

I'm still waiting for the "get 10,000 shares of OnLive stock free with any purchase, please buy our service, please just please buy anything from us!!" sale.

Well so far I've invested $50 and got a MicroConsole, Split/Second, Metro 2033, another full price game TBD and a month of Playback, so whatever the motivation, I'm fine with it.
Is there still time to sign up? They've got some pretty neat looking titles.
the free game will be given to all Playpack members who sign up before midnight Pacific time on July 4th (tonight)

$20 - Metro 2033
$10 - Onlive Console
$10 - Playpack
$5 - Splinter Cell
$0 - Amnesia
$0 - Duke Nukem Forever (?)

Yeah I've got great deals off this thing.

$10 Microconsole
$5 Ghostbusters
$5 The Ball (why not)
$14 Darksiders
$5 Batman Arkham Asylum

Got Arkham Asylum for $4.95 with the 50% off coupon. It was a $5 Fridays before, but I had missed out on it.
Do you guys experience latency issues? How are the visuals for you?
You know that there's a 30 minute demo for every game, right? It's going to be different depending on where you live, your connection speed, and latency.
I have no idea what I should get for free.
same haha.

i guess i'll see when the code expires, hopefully we can get Deus Ex with it. otherwise I'll probably end up with red faction

Deus Ex would be great. The last few coupons have expired relatively soon though, within a month I think.

Yeah, I fully expect it to expire by August 5th at the latest. I would rather have Deus Ex than any of the current options. Right now I am leaning toward Fear 3 or AC Brotherhood. I didn't like the original AC so I'm not sure if I will like BH or not.

After playing some trials, I just cant play with the amount of compression and at the low resolution onlive offers. The latency was minimal, but compared to a gtx 480 the games look like garbage. If your playing on a tv with a controller it might be on par with consoles if you are far enough away to not notice the compression. I was on wifi and the latency was surprisingly low, present, but low.
But this is a great deal if you can deal with the substandard visuals or dont have a gaming pc.

Noob question! So I don't have the onlive system but I'll love to have one to play on my tv. I was looking at some games on there and noticed some games only had Kb/mouse listed for the controlls, does that mean I can't play that game on my tv and I HAVE to play it on my pc?

So I subscribed to the playpack on Sat. but have yet to receive an email with a promo code in it. Has everyone else already received theirs?

They are not even open yet. I wouldn't expect to see any codes until later this afternoon.

The micro console has usb ports on it, so I'm pretty sure you can plug a keyboard and mouse into it and it should work fine. I havent tried myself, but it should work.

Still waiting myself... I'm guessing they have a lot more of the emails to send than any previous promotion before this so maybe that explains the delay. I had emailed customer service early this morning as well but have yet to receive a reply which is unlike their customer support as well.

I thought that myself. Just thought i would check in and see if I had missed it, lol

Got an email from Customer Service about an hour ago. They said they'd be sending out the codes tonight into tomorow morning. Customer service responds within 12 hours again
Yep, I also got mine a few minutes ago. Now to see what I'm going to get with it.
Yeah, I am stuck between AC:BH, Fear3 or Homefront. I know ratings indicate AC:BH is the obvious choice but I hated the original AC and didn't get very far on the demo of ACII so I have this nasty feeling I won't like BH. I've never even played the Fear series or homefront so I have no idea what I am getting there.

I decided to go ahead and pick up Red Faction: Armageddon. I love ACB, but already have it on the 360.

Yeah same here Im also stuck on ac:bh or fear 3. After playing ac1 and ac2 it seems like it will be the same for brotherhood. Right now I'm leaning more on the fear side though, I tried out the demo and really liked it. Well see....

I'm unsure. Didn't know they had AC: BH..... I kind of wanted to play that on the 360 though... Leaning towards Red Faction but I don't know.... Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Fear 3 is probably like all the others and pretty short, I would rather rent that. I'm going for RFG for the sandbox and that would be something I might play with for longer than 5 days.
