So I sell my 3DS and it's to some guy who is listed as being from the UK on his ebay profile. His other purchases have been from people in the UK. I don't ship out of country plain and simple. I block other countries and specifically state it in my auctions.

So anyway the guys ebay location is bothersome enough but then this is the address I'm supposed to ship it to:

Foreign Sounding Name
182-21 150th Avenue Street Springfield Gardens
Bah 3576
Springfield Gardens, NY 11413

Now, I look into the address which doesnt make fucking sense to begin with (to me at least). I mean, "Avenue Street"?? Wtf...

And wtf is "Bah 3576"??

Ebay won't even let me print a shipping label for it and tells me "Invalid Address"

Trying to make sense of the address, I come up with this website:
http://www.socialslave.com/kuwait/aramex-shop-and-ship-us-address/

Which is Aramex Shop and Ship. Whatever the fuck that is. So, is this someone just trying to fuck me over somehow, or someone in the UK having it sent to that US address which will in turn be forwarded to some other address? If that's the case would I be protected in any way sending it to the address he gave me?

UGH. Basically I'm going to have to politely tell the guy to go fuck himself because I'm not sending it to that address. Period. So any ideas on how to not get a negative feedback?

Google search of Bah brings up "Basic Allowance for Housing" as the main article, which seems like it could be associated with a shipping address, but im not sure.

Googling "182-21 150th Avenue Street Springfield Gardens" brings up some articles relating to what you already said. It seems that this guy is using the address as a means of shipping from one place to another.

If you wanted to follow up... you could just politely ask the guy whats up with his shipping address. Tell him it looks really odd and to confirm it. Tell him you dont ship internationally.

Theres no reason to get super upset over this, I get weird addresses all the time when selling online and havent had much trouble. Most people answer quickly and are civil about it.

I had to ship to someone's business office in Spain once, which was REALLY weird in the address book. Everything went smooth, though.

PS. If you just plain out dont want to deal with it, just tell him you cant sell it to that address, or that the item has been lost. Refund the amount paid, file a cancellation report. I had to file one today, its really simple

Thanks. The problem is even if he gives me the proper address, which I guess would be:

Name
182-21 150th Avenue
Bah 3576
Springfield Gardens, NY 11413

I still am not sure shipping to that address would leave me protected in any manner. Even if it is a legit business that will ship it to him, what if they fuck up somehow? What if they break it or simply don't ship it? I don't know I guess I'll talk to the guy first to get a proper address and then talk to ebay/paypal.

Self bump. Yeah I can tell this guys going to be fun. The idiot is in the UK and is now asking why the shipping is taking so long since he paid so much for it.

His ebay name is kal_59, I'd suggest blocking him.

Self bump. So I can tell this guy is going to be fun. I mailed it out the first possible day priority shipping. It cost me $17.31 to ship with insurance. He paid $10. He's now asking me why shipping is taking so long since he paid so much to have it shipped fast. It should be at the address he asked me to send it to (in NY) today...

Christ. His ebay name is kal_59

To late since you have shipped but I would have used signature confimration so someone would have to sign for the item. I haven't shipped to that address in ny but I frequently get sales to a forwarding service out of Miami and it haven't had any problems. One other question: what did paypal say about the address? Confirmed or not confirmed?

Tell him the truth. You're not responsible for speed of mail service. If you have proof you mailed it, send it to him. be prepared to send it to eBay/Paypal as well. If it doesn't arrive, within an agreed upon time, invoke the insurance from the post office. I takes a while, but it does work.

Well as long as you shipped it to the address that comes up with the Paypal payment you're protected. Hopefully you refunded him the first payment and made him change his address and then resend his payment. I believe if you alter a shipping address after payment, you're technically going around the seller protection policy.

sorry for Necroing this thread but a similar thing happened to me today. Same address, his user id says United Arab Emirates, but his paypal address is the same one as OP. Guy has 0 feedback and won an expensive item ($1000+). Never encountered this before in 10+ years doing ebay, what should I do?
