Just thought I'd pass along the info as I rarely check my email, but did notice this letter from Shout! Factory. Looks as if Jem and the Holograms has finally cleared all rights/publishing/Sunbow issues and is about to be re-released, except this time in its entirety
And yes this is a deal if you want to pick this up and not be bothered with tracking down the complete seasons 1 & 2 for $200 and up!
Couldn't find the pre-order listing on Amazon, but there is the possibility this may show up at other retailers closer to release date and maybe at a cheaper price, but if you've been hunting for a deal on these since they went OOP last time from Rhino, then I'm guessing $60 is more than an acceptable price. Now if only someone could ever clear the hurdles to release all of the Kidd Video episodes on dvd, i will finally be able to fully replicate my dream 80's style Saturday morning cartoon block
