Bestbuy.com has Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - Game of the Year Edition on sale for $19.99. The price is also good in-store.

If the item isn't available at your store, you can choose the "ship to store" option to save on shipping. However, note that it appears that the availability date for ship to store is 8/28 oddly enough. Awesome game if you have room for it in your backlog.

I was thinking of picking this up prior to 3 releasing. Thanks.

If I do ship to store, it says "order today, pick up on 8/28". No thanks.
 
Wasn't this on sale at BB and Amazon a month or two back? If so, what was the price? I can't remember...either way, thanks OP, might jump on this since I borrowed the game like a year ago when I beat it.

Ship to store means that the store does not have it in stock for instant pickup but it can be ordered for you and sent to the store so you can pick it up at a later date. The date being 8/28 means that Best Buy is not expecting stock until then. If it is sooner, they will notify you via email.

Yeah I figured that, what I thought was weird about it is that it's showing as available for shipping to your home and leaving the warehouse within 1 business day even though they couldn't ship it to the store until next month? Their warehouse allocation is different for in-store shipping than home shipping i suppose.

I think it was still $20 cause it traded in for $20 at the time too. If I remember that correctly after waking up.
 
i think best buy had a deal where u preorder uncharted 3 u get uncharted 2 goty for 9.99.... guess it was only for short time a month back.
 
If I remember correctly, the DLC contents need to be downloaded via a code, so they're not on the disc itself. Does anybody know has the code expire yet?

id like to know this too. I hate when this stuff doesn't have the data on the disk

btw whats this actually include? Anything for the single player, or just multiplayer stuff? I have the first one and original release of this one but havent ever played it =P
 
This was on sale for 16.99 last month on Newegg. Picked up a copy and can confirm that all the bonus content is downloadable via a single code. Includes:

Playstation Heroes Skin Pack, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune MP Pack, Uncharted 2 Siege Expansion Pack, Currency Multiplier, Golden Guns, Early Access to "Revenge" Booster, Uncharted: Eye of Indra Motion Comic Bundle, Uncharted: Eye of Indra Skins, Uncharted Avatar Packs 1-4, Pinball Heroes - Uncharted

No idea what any of this crap is. Just started playing the first Uncharted the other day myself.

The code hasnt expired. I recently downloaded the code from a copy of the GOTY edition I picked up at a pawn shop for $10 that for some reason had an unused code. Which is why I bought it. Code worked perfect, it has 28 downloads on it in total including both map packs, a bunch of avatars, a video, etc etc.

The punch line of it though is that when I got to the very last level of the game, it freezes. And you cant get past the freeze... which is probably why it was traded in. and it probably had an unused code which someone put in the old case after using the original code and then buying a new copy so they could play the game.

Yeah all the in game dlc content on that card is for multiplayer only. No single player dlc even exists for the game.

Heres some elaboration on the content:

PS heroes skin pack- a skin pack for mp that includes Sev, Helghast soldier, chimara hybrid, good cole (from infamous), bad cole, and Nathan Hale.

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune MP Pack- this adds mp maps that are based on scenarios from the first game.

Uncharted 2 Siege Expansion Pack- a new co-op mode called Siege, two new maps (the Highrise and the Museum), six player skins (Wetsuit Drake, Baseball Shirt Drake, etc.), and 11 new Trophies to unlock.

Currency Multiplier-Multiplys your cash earned in a round x2 until level 10.

Golden Guns- no explanation needed. Your default pistol and ak-47 are now golden.

Early access to revenge- This is very helpful. It unlocks a booster that is for high leveled players called revenge. When equipped, every time you die and have at least 1 grenade your dead body throws this grenade right where you died and sometimes it ends up killing your attacker.

Uncharted: Eye of Indra Motion Comic Bundle- 4 digital comics about a side story involving the eye of indra. Eddy Raja is a major character as well as his sister.

Uncharted: Eye of Indra Skins- mp skins for the characters in the digital comics.

Uncharted Avatar Packs 1-4- avatars of each main character in uncharted 1 and 2. also artifacts.

Pinball Heroes - Uncharted- a psp game pinball game based on uncharted? I dont know much about this one.

the goty edition is such a great deal because not only do you get a phenomenal game, but you also get all its dlc.


You definitely owe it too yourself to play both uncharted 1 and 2 before 3 comes out if you own a ps3.

Uncharted 1 is an excellent game but in my opinion there are too many times where you just fight waves of enemies.
Uncharted 2 though on the other hand, is such an amazing game. I actually believe its the best game ive ever played.

Also dont forget about the uncharted dual pack thats coming out soon, most likely for $39.99

No, the actual expiration date is 10/12/2011. There was a typo on the voucher.
