Seems they are keeping their list of stores updated as to which ones are still open and which ones already closed. Figure the ones that are still open should all close by 10/31 as that was the terms of the bankruptcy agreement.

I wonder how long it takes to hear back about the gift cards. I sent the info to omnimgt last month.
Going back today and see what remains. There was still plenty of Pop characters and 10% off candy.
edit
90used/75new. PV - games are 2/5$, DVD $1, BluRay $2.50. Used books 10/1$. CD/Magazine/Vinyl 50/5$ preselected.
Saved $549.xx today. A few PV games, comics and 30 used books.
There are still plenty of Skylanders and Infinite. Pops are almost gone. May go by this weekend. There are still plenty of new games.

Latest email says today is the last day. At 3PM, they're doing something to clear all of the shelves of any remaining merchandise. RIP Hastings.

I don't think the store locator is updated anymore.

I think the two stores an hour away from me closed last week. I went down there to watch Shin Godzilla and was able to pick up a few things before they closed.
Really sad to see Hastings go. One of my earliest memories is renting some NES games and Enter the Dragon by convincing my mom that the only reason it was rated R was because it had one mildly bloody scene at the end.

Once this thread goes to the Deal Graveyard, I might shed a single tear. My location closed a couple weeks ago.

No one else has Splatoon tournaments or Mario Kart tournaments......
They had a nice rental library.

Made my last trip to Hastings today. The Special Event was big bags that you could either fill with books for $10 or anything for $30; new or used. Most of the really good stuff was gone but got some decent deals.
Sad to see Hastings go. Their prices tended to usually be on the higher end, but it was a chill store. Tear shed. Not sure if local, but props to the employees for keeping everything fairly well put together these last few weeks and for having positive attitudes. I've seen other stores close down and lots of employees tend to clearly stop caring early on.

I'll miss Hastings. Even tho i didn't get much stuff from there from their clearance sales. There is always alternative places like it like V-Stock. Mine closed a week ago.

Hastings was my only place to get new comics in-store. The only other place in my town charges 2 or 3 times the price.

I'm curious, what were some of the best deals and finds you guys came across during this whole prolonged clearance?

I remember going to Hastings while I was in college in Huntsville, Texas. I used to rent movies there every weekend or catch up with friends at the coffee shop. Was a fun ride while it lasted.
What?!? When were you there? I was in school there from '07-'11. They closed that one awhile back and opened one in Conroe.

I went 2005-2009. I used to pass the Conroe one here and there when I lived in the Woodlands recently. Now I'm back closer to Houston so I hadn't been in awhile.

Cool man, what was your major? I live on the northside of Houston, would take a trip occasionally out to Hastings. The trade-in values were good to switch to digital during sales on the console marketplaces.

I can't exactly remember all the prices off the top of my head but i can remember some of the items. Xbox Music Mixer for the original Xbox, Lego Star Wars 2 (Disc Only) Xbox 360, Up The Movie The Game Xbox 360, A Steven Universe book, some Goosebumps books, and Wolf Among Us for Xbox One. I could of grabbed Smash Bros 4 for $30.00 but i left it for someone else to find.

The best thing I was able to get was a brand new copy of Catan for 60% off. Came out to about $20. The lowest I've ever seen it on Amazon is $35, I think.
