Dark Souls $56.99 @ Amazon (PS3/360)

Who needs $20 credits when you get $3 off instantly!? Super bargain we won't see this till black friday!

I have amazon credit saved up. I dont pay local tax (9.1%) on amazon purchases (shh). I want dark souls. This saves a few bucks rather than backloading the "savings" w/ a credit you have to buy something to redeem.

This isn't quite my price point on this game, but it's close. so be nice.
 
Geez cut the guy some slack. It's not a good deal, but I see tons of CAGers jump through ridiculous hoops to get that 5% gold box discount. This is the same, without the work.
 
$3 off is a Horrible "Deal". plain and simple.

this game will drop like a rock.why? because most gamers are Casuals. they will find it Extremely Difficult and Frustrating since they NERFED the magic Royal class from demons souls. the Casuals will trade it in by the hundreds and push the price down used and new. plus MW3,UC3,BF3,Skyrim,etc will come out soon and further drive this games price down. we have seen this throughout history.
 
I suggest you wiki this thread and post all games released in the last month that are currently below $59.99 on Amazon. And don't you hesitate to put up those $59.96 Amazon deals.

plus it's actually $9 if you have a high local sales tax (like me).... I've seen 459 post threads dedicated to a smaller profit on a flip...lol
 
If you guys don't like threads why don't you just move along? If all you guys pissing and moaning aren't teenagers then you probably need to evaluate where your life has gone wrong.
 
The people who are defending him, come on. No one is going to buy into this deal. He deserves the criticism that is leveled at him so he knows next time to stop clogging up the forum with crap. Somehow $3 off MSRP is supposed to convince someone to buy a game when they could've preordered for $3 more and gotten the game a week earlier and possibly a Collector's Edition? Or with a $20 coupon at K-Mart last week?

In that case, I'll make a separate thread for every game on Amazon that's lower than $59.99 and heck, to be fair, I'll even go to Wal-mart and list all the $59.98 games too because they're less than the MSRP of $59.99.

Let me address all you critics of my thread. I do not post a deal, which this is, to get stars or to get props from you guys. This board is for posting deals and that is what I did. Yes, I know it is not a big discount. Yes, I know most CAGs will not get into this. I am not buying the game because of this deal. I, like a lot of you, am probably going to by this game when it goes to $40, which might happen Black Friday. Like many other mature CAGs have already said, if you do not like this deal just don't post and let the thread disappear. Give it a bad rating and move on. One CAG said I was clogging the board by posting this. It is ironic because you all are clogging it up by letting a not-so-hot deal stay at the top.
 
ive been on CAg for a very long time, and responses like the ones in this thread are the reason why I will no longer be posting/using this website. it's changed and i have no use for it any more.

i hear that, man. i've been here since '03 as a lurker, then under different names as my internet connection allowed, so i've been around for a bit. the SD people that started joining instead of competing sucked, but this crazy hate is the worst. if you don't think it's a deal, don't buy it. plain & simple. no need to give the guy lashes on his back!
 
$59.95 is STILL a good Deal. you save 4 Lincoln Pennies off MSRP. thats 4 more pennies that go towards my Skyrim pre-order.
 
Thank you for taking the time to at least contribute and post a deal. I've never posted a deal I found because of the types of people I see in this thread.

This is a minor discount to say the least, but the rude "not a deal" posts are counter-productive. Best idea I've seen for stuff like this is to have a "not a deal" button that adds a hidden vote which doesn't bump the thread. If enough people click it, a moderator can check it out and make the call.

best i've seen is the system that's in place. everyone posts deals, and the best stay at the top, as people thank the OP. what ruins that is when people constantly hate on others in threads they dislike. what they don't understand is 1000 people could have bought this game because of this posting & you'd never know. it's not quantifiable. every deal deserves to be here just as much as the others.

take the haters out of the mix & it would work fine. ban everyone that says 'it's not a deal', and it would run smooth.
 
Don't care what anyone says $3 off a game that's gotten high reviews and was released a week ago is a deal in my eyes. You can argue the crap all you want. "OMG $40 is a deal by black friday" well in a year from then it will be $20. By this type of logic deals would never be posted because the game will inevitably get cheaper and cheaper as time passed by.
$3 is small, but there are people who will want to get this game sooner rather than later just to enjoy it now.
 
FYI: Frys.com is showing both :ps3: and :360: versions of Dark Souls for $49.96.

However the PS3 version is showing shipping as UNAVAILABLE. I still submitted a price match request to Amazon for that version though.;)

That's what irks me most about the PMing policies of many stores. Best Buy will PM Amazon with no issues usually, yet trying to get them to PM Gamestop, Kmart, Target or even TRU(or their respective websites) is like trying to get blood from a stone.:roll::whistle2:#
