I noticed that this thread has been dead for a while so I contacted the author and she agreed to let me take over...so we are starting a minty fresh, brand-spanking-new Toys R Us clearance game thread....

I have put the last 2 entries under spoilers so we wouldn't lose that data but most of it is pretty old...I will probably delete the stuff that goes back to early 2010 as it is really irrelevant....so we are gonna start small here....I have a few updates to post from my ventures out today..

I would like to keep this thread in the spirit of the Target Clearance Game thread so I will be setting it up like that...

Welcome to the Toys R Us clearance thread! Like all stores, Toys R Us also has clearance games-- and they often drop numerous times, such as going down to 19.98, 9.98, 5.00, and even as low as 3.00. There doesn't appear to be a set rhythm to when these drops occur, or how many of them will occur. Also, be aware that the games may not have their prices correctly marked-- generally, all TRUs will have the same pricing (there will always be exceptions) so do not let the price tag dissaude you from at least checking to see if it's at the price that it's been reported here.

For the most part, prices are universal! Though there will always be exceptions...

Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions for PSP was 9.98. Was there earlier today but that was the only price I remember.

Damn, I would have picked a couple of those up for Xmas presents...I do have relatives in Arkansas...

I have some updates for the first post...

I picked up Rhythm Heaven for $7.48 after the discount, so the normal clearance price is $9.98. I also saw Clash of Heroes - DS for $14.98.

looks like im returning my cabella copy to gamestop if they have it at toys r us. I'll check tomorow.

anyway tactics is 9.99 everywhere now, pretty sure thats the new price. I will mention that when i was in there the other day picking up a couple DS lites they had i wound up getting links crossbow adventure with the gun. The store locator says they have Cabela's and Rapala but not sure on You Don't Know Jack.

I found this week that the store locator was off for two of the games I was hunting for the b2g1. Locator said "out of stock" but there were several copies when I went anyway.
 
So I got Cabela's and Rapala but You Don't Know Jack rang up at $29.99 which was very disappointing.
They really didn't have anything else I wanted so I just grabbed Chaotic Shadow Wars as my free game.
The selection of $9.98 games was not good at this location.
 
I remember seeing 3D Dot Heroes on clearance but it was like $25 AFTER 25% off so I didn't really remember the price, i think it was like $34.98 or something, but I don't think it's worth mentioning in the op considering you can get it for like $20 or less everywhere else.
 
Probably should mention at the beginning of the thread that Toys R us is not YMMV on clearance. It's very strange about what games make it to clearance too.

Like the new thread. I am not familiar with JJ, but I'll try to help out when I can. Been w TRU for about 2 years now. I'm not working a whole lot right now, but will contribute what I can.

I was actually about to create a thread to share the Rapala's & Cabela's bundle pricing. Picked 1 of each of this morning. I didn't see YDKJ or Brink at my store, or I probably would have picked up one of those instead of Truth or Lies. lulz

no, I tried that with the Target Clearance thread and it was an utter waste of time, nothing was being updated.

Thanks for the heads up on the Cabela's bundle. I would have never thought to look for it. Picked up 2 of the bundles for the Xbox with Quantum of Solace(360 also) to complete the b2g1.
 
I figured it out. TRU raised some prices back to MSRP for the b2g1. Examples are RON that was 24.98 now back to 49.99. and YDNJ spotted for 9.98 but now ringing 29.99

That has gone back & forth the past couple of years but for right now yes. As long as the website doesn't say online price only or something to that effect.
 
Didn't TRU get sand in their snatch over a previous clearance thread being titled "OFFICIAL" and bitch at Cheapy to have the title changed? Or did they settle down? Either way thanks for putting this together jimijumper.
 
This is an awesome thread mostly because its not YMMV so alot of people can grab the deals. I just snatched another Cabela ps3 and one for the 360, and got the Pro bass for free for the 360. I'm thinking on going to another store to find the the PRo bass for the PS3. This deals are too good to pass even though i never played this games before
