Anyone know which version of Dark Souls is superior?
From what I gather they're almost identical. The only obvious advantage is to the PS3 version, since no Gold subscription is needed to access the online play, and player communication is disabled in the 360 version anyway.
Thoughts?

On the 360 version you can still use private chat I believe. However, with the new structure of online play, I'm reading it's damn near impossible to get into multiplayer with a friend. I've read stories of ppl dropping summon signs for hours and their friends not being able to see them.

I've only played the PS3 version, and that version has massive slowdown at times, especially in blighttown where it's literally like 5-10 frames a second unless you look straight at the wall. I hear the 360 has the same framerate issues though.

The summary is that it comes down to controller preference and the PS3's more audio options. If you're just playing it thorough a TV with no stereo hooked up or anything like that, it comes down to just controller preference (and Gold membership which they didn't mention in the summary).

Also the PS3 version is getting patches. The 360 will get them way later, if at all, due to MS and their patch process.
