I just picked up the Limited Editon GoW3 at my local Target for $19.98 on clearance, so I'm definitely glad I waited.

Meh, I bought at release, and I'm not worried about it. $60 from Amazon, $1 for release date shipping, no tax, $20 credit, Savage Kantus DLC, and two months of playing before now. Plus the golden weapons for playing during launch week.

This is $38ish with tax and 800 MS points is worth only about $8 if you buy points on sale. It's really a marginal difference for me.

Did any of you guys who already played the game think the dual analog controls seemed a little cumbersome? I love Gears, but I just started this the other day (picked it up at release) and I was somewhat frustrated by walking/running and keeping my field of vision (right analog) where I wanted it.

It's not BS. The Limited Editions are on clearance, Target doesn't want to carry them anymore. But your chances of finding one, especially at $20, are not very good.

Do these sell out early? I have a GC at home I would like to use and a RZ cert (which I can get online). It would save me $10 in the long run....

If somehow you can finagle this deal in-store and use the buy 2 get 1 free coupon on games 39.99 and under...could be a very profitable flip.

Has anybody gotten this to work with the B2G1 coupon?

It totals to 37 with tax... that is almost 40 bucks ...geeeshh i don't know..

This game is worth it. I am a bit bias as I am a big GoW fan, but this game is polished and fun.

No in store pick up option, that sucks.

I would think that would be very YMMV as some employees would see that as double dipping.

They have been clearanced. One was at my local store a month ago at 30% off (59.98) but I already had one. Clearance goes in progressive steps and some are now finding it at 75% off ($19.98).

As always target clearance is HIGHLY YMMV in both stock and clearance price (as their clearance prices are done on a per store basis).

Yeah, it's still $79.99 at the stores around me.

Do I get my 800 MS points by buying the game, or do I have to do something to get them? Like, do I automatically get them with the purchase?

Went to my local BB and they PM the website since it didn't say online only. The game was $40 and the 800 MSP rang up just fine, and then they just adjusted the game to $34.99.

Sure as heck beats going there on BF to get it for $5 less but losing out on $10 in MSP.

Repetition in a game is NOT a bad thing, almost all games are repetitive. What matters is if YOU enjoy the game, then the repetition becomes enjoyable and doesn't feel monotonous or boring.

I guess it's the fact that these games drive in the customers who will then pick up a $9.99 DVD, a controller etc.

I know if I didn't already have gears I would be all over this

This was the biggest purchase I wanted to make on BF and now I don't have to fight crowds or worry about going to the website and I get $10 in Allards for free also, thanks OP!

Agreed.

Amazon has PM'd the $35 price, but no points.

Yeah, I couldn't pass this up, too good a deal. I literally was just about to pay for 800 points for the Dead Island DLC ( addicted to the game) - so, this was a no brainer. Besides, I get triple points on it - gamers club + Best Buy CC FTW.
