Costco (B&M only) - Nyko Zoom for Kinect - $16.99 after in-store rebate

Nice I'll pick one up tomorrow at Costco, but do they really work well? I've been hearing mixed reviews and I kind of moved into a smaller room now
 
Ackkk, so tempting.. as I've recently just got a 360 Kinect bundle.. and my "play area" has less space than ideal..

But, yeah.. as spauldingfan said, there have been mixed reviews about it. It either works really well or not at all. A lot of people seem to say it would only work if you are placing your Kinect Sensor in front of the TV (as opposed to mounting it above it). But, heck.. might as well try for this price.. if it doesn't work, Costco's "no hassle" return policy is always there to save the day. :lol:
 
Mixed reviews? WHERE?!
The only reviews I've seen are negative, simply "does not work" reviews.

Touche about Costcos lax return policy. I may have to just go try it for myself. Although if the detection is as bad as people say, I'll probably rage my fist into my wall if I'm using EA Active, or any other game that already has terrible, random disconnections.
 
Works fine for me. Mines under the TV. Haven't tried it above. I am able to play Kinectimals, Dance Central and Fruit Ninja with it. Haven't tried anything else.
 
Calibrate, calibrate and then calibrate again - amazing how quickly the problems go away if you prep the session...... I learned the hard way that if you don't redo it, it fails miserably....
