Apparently in celebration of Oregon's Trail's 40th Anniversary, SVG Distribution is dropping "The Oregon Trail" on Wii:

On a scale of bad to shits all over childhood memories, where will this game rank?
 
Hadn't seen the box art from the back til now. I originally thought it was the classic gameplay with pretty graphics and Wii-mote aiming for the hunting. Didn't realize this was a 3D gameplay overhaul. My Price point of $10 just dropped to $5.

I'm betting on "shits all over childhood memories".
 
It would be amazing if this game were good but I have a feeling that isn't going to happen sadly. Who didn't love Oregon Trail back in the day?
 
Fingers crossed that this doesn't turn out to be total shovelware, cuz I would very much like to buy me some Oregon Trail.
