Yeah, if it's old enough, xbox.com will send you a new clunky one that won't catch fire. If you want to live on the edge, I can sell you the recalled one.

How much bavis? BTW I couldnt get the new power cord because my Serial Number faded away.

Or if you need one in a hurry, I think Bestbuy and Circuit City sell replacement cords for about $5. Or you might try EB or GS.....

they sell a simular powercord at 99cent stores, the only problem is one side is a square shape, and the xbox needs 2 circles, all you need to do take a knife and shave part of the square side so that it can fit in an xbox, and it works perfectly fine.
