Edit 7: Eurogamer has resumed giving out codes. Grab 'em quick before they're gone!

Edit 5: It seems they have ran out of the 30k codes they had. Congrats to those who were able to snag one.
Edit 4: Correction: Only Xbox codes are working EU/NA. PSN codes currently redeeming for EU only. Will update if this changes.

edit: also it will let you get both a ps3 and xbla code, I just got my xbla code and got a ps3 code for a friend.

Whenever I attempt to redeem mine on the Xbox site, it just hangs at the loading screen. Attempted to type it in on my Xbox itself and it said it wasn't valid. ...Hmph.

I think the codes may not be active until the day that the beta starts, since my friend said the ps3 code said invalid and my xbox code did the same as yours.
 
Good to know! Glad it's not just me. The website that's giving the codes away said that it can be downloaded right now, though...not sure what's up with that.
 
just a heads up for those with european psn accounts the codes are live. It won't work on a non european account right now. Since the codes are coming from eurogamer i figured they would most likely be linked to european accounts.
 
Just to let you CAG's know that you can uses the Beta code if you live in the US. Just Redeemed mine on my US account.

Was able to redeem my 360 code on xbox.com
Media Go wouldnt redeem my PS3 code saying it was invalid/expired
