I do love cheap collector's editions, but the demo was just... eh. The story seems cool, I just think I'd get frustrated by the gameplay pretty quickly.

I believe the only major retailers to carry it were Amazon and Gamestop. Yes some Fry's had it.. and some other little regional stores as well but it was primarily carried by Gamestop and Amazon
 
In for the 360 edition. Already have the Ps3 version I got for free from the b2g1 Gamestop exploit a while back. Probably just going to sell the game it comes with and recoup the majority of the cost.
 
Damn, I want this.. but I want it for PS3, not 360. From what I've heard, the PS3 version is slightly superior. I guess at $30 it doesn't really matter though.

I don't have an Xbox though so it's just the waiting game for PS3 version if it drops for me

There's a super easy setting for if you just want to enjoy the story. Not sure if you can switch midstream - never tried.

PS3 would be the better version IMO because of the d-pad. It's a bit better than the 360 one and the d-pad is crucial in this game in tight spots.

Also, you can switch to "Super Easy" whenever in the game. You just have to activate it at the main menu before loading your game. I ended up having to in the last few levels. I would say to not activate it until you absolutely HAVE to. The game is a lot more rewarding that way.

You can add it to your cart then update the quantity to 999 and amazon will change the amount to whatever they have left. PS3 has 788, 360 has 476.

Place an item you want to find about it on your cart, change its quantity to 999.
If the store as less than that, it will display how many left in stock. There is no way to know if they have above 999 in their stock.

Thanks op, I'm glad I held out on this game. Don't see this going too much lower then 30 bucks. Gotta love how the standard edition costs more.
 
I am tempted to get this, though I really do not want any of the extras. I wear either small or mediums, never a large so the clothes are useless and the rest is just 'meh.'

For $30 this is very tempting still, though I think I will just wait to pick the game itself up for around $15
 
I'm wait and see if the ps3 price drop to match the xbox360 price. The Extra stuff in the deluxe edition is just a pillowcase rite

Played it on the silver 360 controller with the newer d-pad and it was easy to control.

Aside from the drop in quality for the Xbox 360 version's movies, it looks like the two Catherines may be on equal ground.

That's mostly what I was referring to, the 360's cutscene quality. There's also controller preference, I'd probably prefer playing it with a PS3 controller d-pad. I'm not sure if I need the extras, so if the PS3 version's price doesn't drop I might wait to get the regular version.

Kinda torn. I rather wait and see if GF puts it on sale next week, rather then jump on this. All i want is the game, I will never use the shirt, pillowcase, and especially the boxers. I hate having to make choices.

since its xmas time im pretty sure amz is a bit more lenient on the multiple address thing. just mark :this is a gift: and include a cheesy xmas greeting and i don't see them having issues.
