Hmm...I've heard nothing but good things about the two DDS titles, but would a hardcore RPG fan like myself enjoy them? I can't say the gameplay I've seen excited me very much. :???:
 
I LOVED DDS.

A great find if you can bring yourself to dust off your PS2 or fortunate enough to have a backwards compatible PS3. The reactions to it were mixed though so you might want to read up on it or watch some youtube vids.

Tempted to buy Nocturne but I wasn't as impressed with it when I played it.

If you're a hardcore RPG fan, I don't see how you won't like the games. Unless you're referring to WRPG's.
 
Why do I get the feeling that Atlus will make a SMT: DDS 1 + 2 and Nocturne HD Collection for PS3? I'm wondering if I should hold off...

Atlus has yet to (at least publicly) show any interest in HD remakes on modern consoles.

Though. . . I sure wouldn't mind being proven wrong. ;D Some sort of MegaTen HD collections would easily beat out all the other HD ports we've seen thus far, for me anyway!

The normal MSRP is apparently only $30 new for these? Color me surprised. I thought these were still rare as hell, even with the reprint. I already own all 3x, but to anyone who enjoys older school JRPGs I'd wholeheartedly recommend these prices.

That'd be pretty awesome. The JRPG HD collection that I REALLY want from the PS2 is .hack and .hack//GU

Lol, yea guys, i'm sure Atlus is going to make new textures and HDify their 60 hour games to put on a $40 collection. Thats totally gonna happen.
 
Considering how long these have been in stock, I figured that their MSRP would be in the $20 range by now.

I almost want to get DDS2 just so I can get a manual and case insert for the used copy I got from Gamestop a couple of years ago.

The Devil Summoner game, I thought would never be rare compared to DDS and Nocturne. I'm surprised people still want to pay a pretty penny for it. I bought 2 copies ages ago, and added it to my backlog. Come on Devil summoner 2, get rare already.

The only one I wasn't able to buy during The Reprintening is DDS2. But even though I spent $30 for each of them, I haven't even opened them, and I likely never will. There are so many Megaten games now that it's hard for me to want to go through the rest after playing Persona 3/4. :( Come on, doods, these games are so long.
 
Is digital devil saga 1 sold out? I dont see it through amazon at all, just a 3rd party seller.

Still see some nocturne though. May get that but i really wanted DDS 1 with it
