Quote notifications

Is there anyway we'll ever see a simple notification system that lets you know when someone quotes you in a thread? Another forum I'm a member of (moderator actually) implemented this feature a year or so ago and it works like a charm. I often forget that I've posted in a thread and this way would be a lot easier than checking my post history through my profile.

Just a thought. I don't know if it's at all possible or whatever.

There's that, but that's much broader than what I'm talking about. Some threads see a ton of posts in just one night, so it can sometimes be a pain in the ass to look through all the pages to see if anyone replied directly to you. Unless subscribing lets you know when someone quotes you, then that doesn't do the job all the way.

When we move to IPB in a month or so (hopefully), we will have that feature.
