CAGiversary!
do they still make it sell it and games to are they gonna stop making games for it an the psp3000 when the vita is released?

Yep, just like all old systems it's being left to die. There will be a few die-hard Japanese studios making games for it until the second half of next year and then that's that.

Sorry to poop in the thread, but the Go is a

Terrible idea making it all download, and look where it got it. In the bargain bins everywhere. And they'll be no support and no store for people going forward because Sony wants everybody to buy a Vita.

In it's defense though, it's just right size, and I like the controls better than the PSP.

Plus it's still going to be sometime before people get away fully from having something physical in their hands.

The PSN situation has showed that when the system is down so is gaming...even if the walking dead scenario were to come true you could still play your psp with UMDs & gamestop probably wouldn't have been raided since you can't eat games LOL.

I'd still buy a PSPgo if I found one for less than $100.

I wish Sony would remake the PSPgo or give it to the Vita with these features:

1. Enable a UMD drive to connect to it via a USB port.
2. Be able to connect a Ethernet port to USB adapter (similar to the one used for the Wii) for those who don't have wireless.
3. A second analog nub for digital PS2/PS1 games. (PSPgo only or use a PS3 controller)

The PSPGo was just a bit too ambitious and did not really have a place for the general public. It just didn't have the sales numbers for Sony to back it up anymore.

PSPGo joined my trusty GBA Micro as my favorite handheld systems of all time.

I play my Go more than any other portable gaming device (iPhone, DS, GBA).

The system is beautiful, the screen is great and the controls are responsive. 16 GB of built in memory gives it plenty of space for games/movies and it is easy to switch them out via Media Go as I need to. I much prefer the ease of having 15 or so games on my system at once, all ready to be played at a moment's notice rather than having to carry around UMDs. Plus, without the drive, it makes the system so light and easy to hold in any position.

Sony should have definitely offered a way for people to trade their existing UMDs in for digital downloads, or some type of comparable program and really dropped the ball with that measure. But it doesn't chip away enough of my love for the Go to discourage me from enjoying it.

I was asking myself the same thing yesterday, I remember seeing a few IGN youtube videos about it and then did not hear about it again after that. :p I guess it was just trying to do too much.

It's in my girlfriends closet. PSN is overpriced compared to buying UMD. Also, the battery is nonreplaceable, so I rather play my 3000 and preserve my go
