thanks for the head up. in for augmented edition and dlc. between this BF3, and Sonic generations, i should be good until mass effect 3 hits in march.
 
Have to get the vanilla version plus DLC when I get home. I'm not feeling the Augmented Edition. I'll also vouch for GG though. Excellent service.
 
Is there a concern about regions or anything? This is a really good deal, but I don't want to risk my Steam account if these are "bad" keys. I know people use them a lot, just wanting confirmation. US Steam user here.
 
well thanks OP just picked it up with dlc and downloading now , i was also waiting to see todays steam deals to see if it would go on sale there. no biigie just set up a new account
 
Thanks, just got it. It took forever to checkout, but it worked. On the games page it says the keys will be available in a few minutes.
 
If I didn't have such a backlog I would probably get this, still tempted even so.........But I've got a bunch of games to play already...I hope it'll go on sale this cheap again.

Aargh! I waited too long! Hopefully the price goes back down later. This fluctuations happens a lot during their sales so hopefully we see a blip back down :(:(:(

EDIT: Abeja, I'm down to join you for 1 regular DE. I picked up the Augmented Edition from OnLive during the $1 deal last month so I don't need the extra content again.

I went ahead and jumped on the Amazon deal instead. Sorry! :(

Damn.. I was getting ready to buy all of the DLC from them and the price went up. I saw that the offer would be valid for a few more days, but didn't realize they'd increase the price before then.
 
Sometimes the UK site (http://www.gamersgate.co.uk) has a different price than the NA site. I checked and Missing Link is actually about 3 quid, so more than the $5.06 it's currently at :( Argh, why did I wait knowing that GG's site has a weird way of fluctuating?

Oh well, got in on the Amazon deal for the base game so I'm not too sad of course ;)
 
How often does gamersgate's prices fluctuate? If the missing link drops back down to $3 I'll probably buy it, but I'm not biting at $5 after seeing it for $3..

Shame the DLC increased in price. Looks like they just got greedy as their site got more traffic and thought people would still buy these at a higher price. Good on Amazon for PMing the main game price (even though I already own it and was just looking for a good sale on the DLC).
 
As I said on the Amazon thread, I think the $3.06 was a price mistake for the DLC. On the UK site, it's 3.05GBP which translates to the $5.09 price on the US website.
 
ordered when it was 3.06, but didn't complete the payment on paypal coz I timed out. Came back a few hours later thinking I was going to have to pay more money but the old order was still vaild so I ended up paying 3.06.

Exactly. Now some of my money will be going to Amazon instead of them. Too bad Amazon doesn't carry the Explosive Mission pack DLC nor have they beaten GamersGate's current price on Missing Link DLC.

I don't think it's a greed thing. They frequently introduce a new sale price and it's simply wrong (sometimes higher, usually lower), and it gets fixed within the hour. They had Shogun II's RRP listed as $90 the other day, so the 75% discount wasn't particularly great. :lol: Then when it was deal of the day yesterday, they messed up again and made it too cheap!

Just think of it as a promotion - an extra discount for the first x minutes. ;)

Hmmm... you're complaining and I'm defending. I'm guessing you've missed out on their previous mistakes, while I'm very happy with my three Deus Ex DLC, Shogun II + Blood Pack, Kings Bounty Platinum and Disciples III (total price ~$10!). :lol:
