You can also play on Google+ games in any web browser https://plus.google.com/u/0/games/971508122032 No ads that I've seen plus it has special teamwork levels and leaderboard ranking with your friends.
 
I agree that the Chrome free versions aren't good anymore. The ads, the smaller size and the less responsive controls make it just not that much fun.

Thank you! Put all three on a new laptop I'm giving to my parents. Dad played once on Touchpad and became addicted instantly. This is great!

I got the free copy of angry birds form intel when they had it as a bonus for making an appup account but i bought all 3 of them for the price just so i could get rid of intel store program
