BB PS2 $50, AC Brotherhood Col. Ed. $40 YMMV

Would love to grab a sealed PS2 for my collection for $50! Sounds extremely regional/YMMV, though. I think at least one of my BB's still has a PS2 console, however, so I might have to go check, just in case.

The AC Brotherhood Col. is $40 also at my store in Mays Landing, NJ.
Store number: 581

I saw like 3 or 4 behind the gaming counter.

I may have to grab an extra one today for my collection.
These were on a clearance cart at my local bb. Sorry if already posted.
Can you post the SKU for the PS2? That should help some members see if a PS2 is around them.

best buy was chesterfield, mi. they had less than 6 consoles and more than 6 of the ac col. ed. didnt puchase anything, just thought it was worth mentioning. dont see the system at bb.com anymore. the ps2 was the plain black system and the one with toy story game.

It's funny, I was wondering if any cags lived around my area.

Here's a stock locator link for the PS2: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olstemp...getype=page&listflag=true&pageMode=searchmode

SKU# is: 7266638

However, every time I've used this link lately to check for PS2 systems NONE of my local stores show in stock. So YMMV on whether or not maybe they already clearanced these and this is nationwide n people snapped em all up already.

I know for a fact that the controllers and memory cards were already all clearanced at $10-15 each or so, so it's likely to be YMMV on whether or not you'll even find any of those at this point too.

Well your store is nowhere near mine though these prices are usually national. My store has had one of these CEs sitting for well over a year collecting dust.
Anyone happen to know the SKU for AC: Bro - CE? Doesn't show up on the website.
1338007 for the 360
1338025 for the PS3
Would like to get a ps2 just to add to y collection. Store locator is saying that t is unavailable at all of the stores near me.
If a Best Buy store has less than 3 of an item in stock, then it usually will show up as unavailable/out of stock. Best bet is just to go in store and check when you get a chance.
TRU needs to clearance their PS2's for $50. I know mine has 3 of them, but still $100.
Target already got rid of them a while ago as well. Sears also needs to eliminate the rest of their PS2's. They DID clearance out the earlier versions of the slim model a while ago, but the more recent ones with the silver packaging are still MSRP as of the last time I checked.

Thanks! Much appreciated!

I can confirm this. Went to a Sears in Canoga Park, CA about a month ago and they had one silver PS2 at MSRP.

AC:B was clearanced a while ago with some of my local stores having it at $34.99 with a 30% off discount. Now its back to regular MSRP though ($99.99 I believe. Not sure on what the MSRP is, the employee I was chatting with told me that). Same with the PS2, They have the Toy Story 3 bundle in stock but for normal MSRP as well. definitely YMMV. Gamestop has AC:B for $30 I believe but probably gutted out
maybe ill buy a slim at gamestop their only 30 bucks used... i would prefer to get new tho at 50
The slims are $40 at Gamestop, its the phats that are $30.
Assassin's Creed Brotherwood CE was clearanced out at GameStop about 2 weeks ago for $30 new.

The thing is it never was clearanced, stores converted the CE to used and reps took the innards.

Regarding the OP deal, it must be YMMV. I hit two best buys today and AC:B for both systems is $99 in RSS. Generally these are nationwide prices so I'm surprised to see it $40 at any best buy stores.

If anyone wants a Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, yesterday when I checked at GS they had a copy for ($26.09 I believe with PUR) for PS3. PM me and I can see if they have it tomorrow after work. Would be cost plus shipping (not sure) as the box is decent in size.

I wish they would update the site with this price so I can PM it at best buy.

The website won't ever update for the CE on GS in terms of making it $30 to correspond to the in store price. It may eventually go to $30 on the website, but I wouldn't hold my breath. It was converted to used, so they removed it from their in store system, there is no way to check the stock unless you go to the store and look/ask. The system only shows Brotherhood as Used or New, with no CE in sight.

I was able to get one of each for 360 and PS3.

I got a extra PS2 black console that I got from Sears awhile back.
I'm not sure how much it would cost to ship....

Would like to get Amazon gift card credit

Too bad the USPS doesn't make their flat rate Priority Mail boxes just a tad larger cuz then you could use one of those. Best bet would probably be UPS Ground or possibly Parcel Post from the USPS.
