I actually got a Vita in Japan a few weeks back - and I think it is pretty nice machine. Played a lot of Dark Quest (Dungeon Hunter) and some Uncharted. Graphics look great. Device itself is nicely made - I have had no technical issues at all. Touch screen is new for me, so it still feels novel. Not sure about the touch panel on the back - want to see how more games use it, but I find I sometimes press it by accident!

I think the biggest factor to consider before buying is whether you will actually want to play long games on it or not. If you have a long commute or often go on long journeys, it's great. But if you need a quick boredom killer at the bus stop, perhaps your phone is fine. And if you have a PS3 or XBox, you'll likely be playing on that at home rather than your Vita.

Anyway, I hope to see it sells well in the UK, because it is a nice little machine.
