Ahhh, so nice to see SHC Gamer; always looked forward to your posts in the Kmart Gamer thread.

I wish Target corporate would suck you up. They have nice, clean stores, a good customer experience, and a strong model going forward...but some pretty meh gaming deals. It'd be the perfect marriage.

To put it blunt, Kmart has cut back its budget and isn't letting Josh do his thing. Really sad, but we can only hope they see the light of day and accept that Josh is the true messiah and allow the gaming deals to come back to life.

Once they ended the $10 pre-order credits they put all their eggs in the 5 for $100 deal . Best deal going if it weren't for all the system/pre-order issues. Very curious to see what 2012's deals will be like going forward across the board.

You got me on the $10 pre-order credit deals. Didn't even know they existed since Kmart had my full attention with their near constant $20 coupons. The 5 for $100 was pretty good if you only wanted 5 games and didn't mind waiting until you bought all 5 of those games to see any credit. Not every game that got a coupon from Kmart was on that list either. I suppose I shouldn't have said that Best Buy offered nothing on new releases but that Kmart had them beaten nearly every step of the way. I see a constant stream of MSRP new releases in Best Buy's future as long as Kmart is out of the game.

Josh, what can we CAGs do to facilitate better things happening in your neck of the woods? In other words, who/where do we contact to politely express our thoughts about the apparent change in gaming deals?

Anybody know if there is any possibility I could still use an expired coupon?
I got one for Mario Kart 7 that expired 1/21/12.

Not bad if you want those games $17.50 off each early. If you count GCs like I do.

its better to pre order games from toys rus, i pre ordered ff xiii-2 for 44.99 and i think soul calibur 5 had the same deal. They usually do pre orders for 44.99 with free shipping.. though don't know how fast the shipping is lol

Blech! Was hoping for a better in house FF13-2 deal, but I certainly don't want to pick up Soul Calibur with it.

Already feeling the hurt from the lack of Kmart deals already

i wonder if these deals stack? $96 for Soul Calibur and Final Fantasy with $35 gc would be a great release week grab.

Have you ever shopped at Tru? That place is notorious for letting deals stack mw3 release day is a prime example.

Pretty good deal but the question is whether or not they will keep doing deals like this every week. Wouldn't be surprised if this ends up being the best B&M deal for these 2 games. Now I need to decide if I want to stick with my $48 NewEgg pre-order of SC V and wait on FFXIII-2 or cancel and go for both games with this.

"buy ANY"

Gears of War 3? I'm thinking the free GCU is an "offer" and therefore wouldn't stack with the coupon.

I'm 100% shocked that books still exist in today's day and age. I thought they'd be out by now. They make up like 1% of today's entertainment and unless you're 60 or older, stray away from books and start emersing yourself with real entertainment.
