Rock Band 3 keyboard bundle $26 at Kmart
Thats because they never made a ps3 bundle.
I did not know that.... sounds like I'm not the only one too.

So there is no way to use the keyboard on the ps3 version?

No you have to buy the PS3 keyboard lol. Amazon does list a keyboard/game bundle for PS3 so I think they did make one.
Lol, you shouldn't update while driving. That's a nice price though. I think I'll pass because I hardly play Rock Band anymore...
Talk about a genre that just died.

It's just a bundle of the game and keyboard separate made by 3rd party sellers on Amazon. There was going to be a regular PS3 bundle but Sony has some rule that games can't be bundled with accessories not made by the game manufacturer so they had to cancel the bundle.

Confirmed the 360 version is $26.00 at the Carson, CA Kmart (3 left)! Picked up the keyboard stand for $14.99 too, though don't know if that was a great price (seemed better than what I thought I saw on Amazon).

I picked up the 360 one for a friend at $26, but the Wii one was still $56. This was in Etown, PA.

Wow coincidence, I went to a random out of the way KMart today and picked up DJ Hero 2 bundle for ~12. They had this Rock Band too, I'm pretty sure it was also on clearance.

It does have a bullet point on the box that says:

"Use as MIDI Keyboard Controller when not playing Rock Band (compatible with most MIDI sequencers)"

If I had the 360 or Wii version, this would've been a steal, but since I only have the PS3 version I had to settle paying $50 for the keyboard alone.

The metal keyboard rack on sale is nice. $15 but some very easy assembly required is worth it.
Thanks OP, grabbed the 360 version. Wii version was $59.

I guess the Wii ones must've been mismarked at my local store... not all too surprising when you consider the staff at that place.

Found one at a Kmart in Independence'MO. Last one there and it was hidden behind a stereo system. Got a dirty look from one of the employees there as I was walking out of electronics. Suppose he must have it hidden....

The one off Noland Rd? That used to be my old stomping grounds... sounds like par for the course when it comes to the crackhead team of employees that this amazing retailer employs.

...if you couldn't tell, I *HATE* Kmart. The fact that they're jerking Josh and his crew around was the final nail in their coffin for me. Aside from the random clearance item, they won't be getting much money from me anymore.

(if you must know why, this is the reason for my hatred)

it was the one off 24 highway and 291. But both stores are full of crackheads and pretty dirty. I just hit them up for clearanced stuff

No kidding man. I used to play Rock Band/Guitar Hero multiple times a week. During the summer after high school ended, my friends and I would play Rock Band all of the time. It was nuts! My girlfriend's parents/family loves those games so I bring it over for their parties. The big boom now is dance/fitness games. I wonder what's next...

Berwick PA store had three left today after I bought mine.
Game alone is $20 new, so getting the keyboard bundle for only $6 more is a steal.

On a side note, I have a sealed copy of the game to get rid of now since I already had the game.

Sell it on Amazon. They sell fast and for a decent price.

Is the Midi adapter included with the bundle? I want to use my own keyboard but this is certainly cheaper than buying the game and adapter separately.

I'm sure a midi adapter isn't included, and they also tend to be quite expensive. I saw a couple of cheap ones when I looked around Dealextreme a few weeks ago, if you don't mind waiting.

You'll also need Midi software. I have no idea about that!

Sadly like the other person said it's not included. Honestly the Keyboard is not that bad. I originally wanted to use my Keyboard too, but after playing with the one they have it gets good enough. I will say I hope you're looking for the adapter for Xbox. I have never seen any other adapter for the other system (online or in store).

They made one for the Wii. I got it at Target last week. PM me if interested.

I'm looking for this bundle for PS3 but someone in this thread said it doesn't exist

Thanks Gabrius for posting this picked up the keyboard bundle in Las Vegas for $26, like you said. Called first a csr stated it was $59 decided to still drive up there when I got there I asked them to scan it for me and the csr asked me if I didnt believe him over the phone I told him no and as he scanned it he was shocked it was at $26. Because he stated it just had dropped in price a week earlier ...good find thanks !!!

Like other people said, the adapter is not included. The keyboard is USB (and, apparently, can be used as a PC midi controller, although I haven't tried it yet). It is pretty solid, though, and the color coding above the keys is a positive for anyone wanting to play non-pro keys or use the keyboard to play the bass parts...or just keep track of where you are on the keyboard playing pro-keys since it can be a bit tricky to read the notes with the game's interface, especially at first. Besides, who wouldn't want a silly keytar midi controller?

The only big negative is that it's only 2 octaves, so you do get those awkward sections where you have to play higher notes but actually have to play them an octave lower.

Btw, you can still find the RB3 midi adapters for all 3 systems on amazon somewhere in the $25-35 range. I've seen the ps3 ones in store at Best Buy, too.

No luck in Louisville. Checked 3 stores. All three had plenty of Wii bundles, no 360 though. Looks like they cleared out all the band bundles. None of the stores had any.

Got it today! Was looking for Rock Band 3 with the guitar though but saw this deal and was too good to pass up. I wanted to get to buy the downloaded version just to keep it on my Xbox Hard Drive. Not sure if it is worth just trading it in and paying the difference for the game.

Still on the hunt for a wireless guitar.
