Picked up Tora! Tora! Tora!. I've actually been waiting for a drop on its price for a couple of weeks now. Glad it happened.

Tora Tora Tora has been on my wishlist since it came out...Just checked the price yesterday and it was still over $20. Thanks for the heads up OP, ordered!
 
That Butch Cassidy BR book looks tempting, but I see several reviews saying that it has a pretty bad Blu-ray transfer. Can anyone attest to that?
 
Picked up Tora ^3 and The Comacheros. I would wait to see about picking up Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid to see if it's a new encode or not, though I'd wager not.

Not exactly. $10 TIV is on a sealed copy ($9.75 now). The Like New TIV is $6.55, and $5.95 for good.


It is the same transfer as the standard edition. The same with Patton too, which also has transfer issues (DNR). Patton however is getting a re-release.

In that case should I wait for a Patton re-release?
 
I don't know if they'll make a digibook with the re-release of Patton, but yeah I'd probably wait. The transfer isn't terrible by any means, but they definitely messed with DNR a little too much which shows at times.
