You need to have an American address when buying Amazon.com download games, don't you? Anyone had any trouble with this? Are most games activated on Steam?

I haven't had an issue. I don't use it too much though cause it's (sort of) fraud, basically saying you live somewhere you don't.

A lot of games DON'T work with Steam.

I know Saints Row 3 and Metro 2033 does.

A lot are Games for Windows and the EA games (Dragon Age, Crysis 2) are Origin.

You actually don't need a US address. They only block your purchase on the frontend, but the backend still accepts your payment and processes it.

I post the method on how to do it in this thread: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=318266

This makes your purchase legal, but this violates the Amazon TOS. If they are keen on enforcing this, at most your Amazon account will be banned or deleted.
