I use Twitter almost exclusively as a 'sign up for contests" sort of thing, but there are a few folks that I follow who I enjoy updates from. I'm probably like most, where I follow a handful of folks, but have a small group of friends that follow me. Well, through dumb luck or good timing, there are a few kinda neat people who follow me back. Who follows you that you think is cool?

-Nick Barnett, NFL Middle Linebacker for the Bills (actually a good friend of mine, so I don't know if it's a "celeb" follower, but neat nonetheless

-Dwight Howard-NBA AllStar Center for the Orlando Magic

-Selena Gomez-Uh..I have no idea why she follows me actually. Apparently she's some singer who dates or dated Bieber?

-Pam Grier-70's star, renewed career starring in Jackie Brown-basically the hottest older chick from my 20's. Foxy Brown, Coffy, Blaxploitation queen.

I delete all of my followers because it is all spam. I also don't tweet but I do follow a crap load of people and check my twitter feed on a daily basis.
I liked Barnett more when he was on the pack.
just sayin'
If it was up to him, he'd still be there ;)

He still had a great season last year, was healthy, and played a role in improving that team. Now with Mario Williams on the DLine and upgrades in the secondary, I'm hopeful they can make a playoff push. I know some of the Pack fans didn't like him, but he put his heart, soul, and body into his play for that team. Still holds records for tackles in a season I believe too. That's quite an accomplishment for a guy who has never done better than ProBowl reserve.

I love him as a person, thought the packer management was just stupid to let him go. Seemed like a real quality person, quiet leadership type of player.
nobody i refuse to use twitter. ever.
:applause::applause::applause:My thoughts exactly. I think I only ever signed up for a Facebook account because GoHastings was gonna give out some discount code on there. I deleted it as soon as I realized I could just check on here and someone would most likely post the code.

Otherwise the only 'social media' account I ever had was one on MySpace(remember them?;)) and only after my one ex gf prodded me to get on there.

Most of my posts on there were about how full of shit the site was and how people should stop trying to friend me on there because I wasn't gonna accept any of them.

I'm not on any social media sites but I do like Twitter for news. It is the fastest way to hear about stuff - especially if you like sports and are managing a fantasy team or something.

I thought I'd never use twitter, but sports (especially fantasy sports) changed that for me. About 95% of the people I follow are sports or fantasy sports writers. It allows me to keep up with news and they also are the first to report injuries and such. I have a couple really hot chicks with generic names that follow me. I don't bother to delete/block the spammers, because I really don't tweet.
