Diablo III Starter Edition/Guest Pass Thread

Thanks worked perfect and currently downloading. I guess I might have to cave and trade witcher 2 and mw3 to get it. Had bills to pay so cash is low.

i would really like to get one, i'm unsure if i want to buy the actual game yet, so a guest pass would be excellent :)

i'll edit this post if/when i get one saying so

i got a question. Lets say i play the game using the guest pass. i created battle.net account and made my character to level 13. If i go buy the game from gamestop and enter the cdkey, will i able to continue using the same battle.net account and the same character? thanks

I would love one, up until a few days ago I was so sure I would buy the game, now I have had nothing but doubt, hopefully a guest pass can clear things up.

I'm at the end of a fairly long line at this point, but I as well would love a guest pass if somebody has one. I'm on the fence about picking it up now or waiting for any kind of price break, and didn't get to play the beta. Kind of want to see exactly what I'm missing and how bad I need this game.

Would LOVE a Starter/Guest pass! Just bought the upgrade for my Mac so I can play Diablo III but now I honestly don't have the cash to spend on the game too, it'd be around $100 for both. I want to get it right now and play side-by-side with friends of mine who got it already but money is too tight.

Hey all Seriously Could use a Guest Pass for Diablo III Starter :) Be able to do something nice since times are tough and money is tight give a nice reason for GF to be happy for a few days :bouncy: Thanks if anyone can help :)

Wondering if Diablo 3 starter edition goes free to next month because there are many sites saying it would be free next month. Though the website says the Diablo 3 starter edition is not available without a guest pass?

Can anyone confirm if it is available to everyone without a guest pass in a month or do we always require a starter edition guest pass?

Thanks

If anyone has an extra Guest Pass I would really appreciate it. I want to buy the game but I don't know if my laptop (from 2008) can run the game. Send me a PM if you are willing to help me out.

Thanks!

Jon

Hello, being honest I just want to try diablo 3 to see if it is even my kind of game. So if anyone has an extra guest pass I would be greatful thanks.

I'd love the chance to try out the Diablo 3 guest pass as well.

I do have a question though. Does the guest pass/starter edition expire after a certain time frame? Or could you play it until you decide to purchase Diablo 3, even if it's like in a month or so?

I'm can't confirm it, per se, but I've not seen anything to contradict the multiple times I've seen it stated that it would be free to all after the first month. Unless you work for Blizzard, there's no way to "confirm" it until it happens.

On a side not, if anyone has an extra, it would be appreciated.

As far as I know, there is no time restriction. These are the only listed restrictions:

Act I up to the Skeleton King is available
Level 13 cap
Matchmaking available only with other Starter Edition players
No Real Money Auction House access

I can't confirm it, but that's the way it works with WoW trials, so I see no reason it wouldn't be the same with D3.

Want to try out Diablo 3 to see if it runs fine on my laptop. Processor beats the minimal requirement, but that integrated chipset is the unknown factor every time!

Ah, ok. Thanks for answering that for me.

In that case, I know I'd want to try the guest/ starter pass.

Would love 2 if possible. Me & my bro need to find out if our computers can handle it smoothly & we played the hell out of diablo 2 way back when.

I would really appreciate a key as well to see if my laptop can run the game or not. Played the beta at a friends and enjoyed it a lot.
