lmao eb games and their trade in deals...pathetic...they devalue everything right before they do these "promos"...one day i went in and asked how much value my game had..they said $15 so i went home and came back the next day with more games....when they had one of these promos and the same game was worth $2

I want a 3DS, but considering the 3DS XL is coming out, I'm not sure if I should pull the trigger on this.

It doesnt mention preorder but if somehow this works for 3DS XL I may have enough to cover most of it, Will try my luck.
 
I just talked to someone at my local EB and they said it should be fine. She also said even if it didn't she would use it for a regular 3DS and then refund me and put it on a gift card.
 
I called and they said they couldn't apply it towards a pre-order of a console (Wii U or 3DS XL). But the guy didn't even know about the deal until I told him, so I'm not sure how correct his info is.
 
Talked to a person at my local EB and she said that it's applicable to pre-orders for the 3DS XL. I guess at this point its pretty YMMV until most of the people start understanding the promo.
