Shadow of the Damned (PS3) for $10 @ Best Buy (YMMV)

Just went to Best Buy and saw Shadow of the Damned for $10 on the PS3, I don't know if it is the same price for the 360. Not sure if this price is for every store or just mine so YMMV.

I've been thinking of playing this game for awhile but wasn't sure if it was worth $20, but for $10 heck yea lol.

Hopefully it's still this price in Sunday. Though I may run down tomorrow just to be safe. I've been wanting to play this after hearing nothing hit good things. My only question would be, is it worth keeping in my collection or should I just rent it and play it once?

You can still purchase it from their website if yo uknow the sku, but it'll be $20 instead.

The $9.99 Shadows of the Damned was originally mentioned in the $9.99 Jurassic Park/Aliens Infestation thread and has been confirmed by a few people in different locations. I picked one up myself tonight in Western NY...stickered and shelved at $19.99, but it rang up for $9.99.
 
RE 6 could learn a lesson or two from Shadows of the Damned. The gunplay is great and very intuitive. The fact that you can aim while moving, dodge roll, and melee weapon bash enemies with the utmost of ease is what makes Shadows of the Damned that much more enjoyable.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game and advise others to purchase this great game. Definitely worth $10.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be the case, as out of three stores I called in Miami only one had it for $9.99.

I've been meaning to pick this game up. I'll check around my area, hopefully I'll be able to find a store that has it at that price.

Did they ring it up or just check the tag? The tag still says $19.99 in store but will ring up $9.99

Well no PS3 copies in Colo Springs. I had the guy do a search on the computer and noticed for the PS3 it said discontinued, and the price was $9.99. This is a nationwide clearance.

Both actually, as they pulled the product from the shelf to ring it up. And correct, the tag still stated $19.99 but comes up as $9.99.

Correct, the Xbox price still rings up as $19.99. The difference is though that most of my local stores are stacked with brand new copies of 360, but have maybe 1 or 2 copies for PS3. My guess is that if you didn't snatch one yesterday in my area you are probably gonna have a hard time finding a new copy now.
 
just beat this game a couple days ago... i must say this game is one of the most unnoticed games out there. SHIT WAS GOLDEN ! :cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:
 
Will grab as this almost brings my campaign to own every single game from 2011 that I wanted to an end. I can't believe I didn't pick up Motorstorm Apocalypse when it was 5 bucks, but I was so tired that morning from the night shift by the time I woke up they were all sold out. You snooze you lose lol
 
Since I've never done a "ship to store" online order with BB, if I order online for $20, go to pick it up at the store, will they price adjust?
 
For those in the Fort Lauderdale area, the BB on University just south of I595 has two copies left. I just picked mine up. It's labelled $29.99 but rings up at $9.99.

BTW I had checked the BB by the Sawgrass Mills mall but they didn't have any. Hopefully this saves someone a trip.

Just picked up a copy from the Howell NJ store. About 2 copies left on a clearance rack near the video game section. Label says $29.99 with a 30% off sticker on the game. Rang up $9.99 with no problem. The Brick NJ store had no copies
 
I just grabbed a copy at the Forum location in Selma TX. They had 1 mor. Rang up $9.99. Doesn't appear to be ymmv. Thanks OP! I am stoked.

Plus the one thing that didn't need "fixing" from RE 5, the camera, is too zoomed in now (at least in the RE 6 demo) making it hard to aim at enemies and the 180 degree turn seems to be cut also.
 
Just picked one up. Guy said it should be priced at 9.99 tomorrow on the shelf, but it is ringing up for 9.99 now. The shelf sticker said 29.99 for what it's worth.
