I went to my local Fry's today and they had a bunch on sale. Sticker still says $39.99 but there's a yellow tag on the rack with the new sale price. Since it's online too I'm assuming it's good at all Fry's. Lowest price I've seen it go for so far aside from Gamestop's last week, which I think is now dead.

Had my wife pick it up for that price at GS and she asked me: "Which Batman? Is it that one that says Batman 10 out of 10?"

Same, I convinced the employee at GS give me a vanilla cover, I can't stand that GOTY. I truly despise those reviews on a game cover, Uncharted 2 was fairly annoying.

I lol'd at the title as well!

that cover art posted by kitsunian looks great. may download it tomorrow at work and find a generic case in my house for it.

I just started playing this again the other day. I collected about 400 Riddler trophies and then my 360 decided to forget my save file so I kind of stopped cold. What an awesome game. I don't haver the GotY version though
 
The guy on freesh1t over at IGN kept calling it 10 out of 10 a couple of weeks ago, was funny. When I went to GS that weekend seen the game and busted out laughing. Guy behind the counter was looking at me kind of strange.
 
They should have done a 2 sided art work cover. This one (with adevertising) and a better one on the inside so it could be flippped over. Don't think it would have cost them more and it would satisfy everyone.

Brilliant. This way CEOs can menstruate their blood-red ads all over the box art and gamers won't have to gouge their eyes out when they look at their copies of the game.

It is terrible, but the back is not bad with Harley Quiin. The vanilla cover has catwoman on the back.

my wife met me in the gaming aisle yesterday and even lol'd at that terrible cover. universal hate; what were they thinking?
 
Employee at my local gamestop switched out the goty case with the vanilla case without even asking me and i didn't notice. Wish he hadn't cuz now I have a loose disc and two vanilla boxes...

but the CEOs won't do it because printing artwork on both sides cost more $$$. i'm surprised capcom did it for umvc3. ha

I traded my vanilla AC copy into Amazon and cried as I realized I was going to have that ugly GOTY cover instead. My printer sucks too much to make a decent alternative.
