Got back from picking my orders up from two best buys just before they closed.

I'm not sure where you're getting $10 at GS for Rhythm Heaven Fever, as it's been reported as $8 base...

...unless you traded it in with at least three other games for :ps3:, :360:, :wii:, :3ds:, or Vita, in which case you would have gotten 25% extra credit for them--$8 + $2 (25% of $8) = $10 for RHF.
 
For Rhythm Heaven Fever I would go the eBay route if you're into that.

Less than 2 weeks ago these were selling in the $25-$33 range. Sure there's a bunch of cheap copies up at the moment, but you can still do better than trading it in. The price should bounce back after a bit, once all the impatient sellers dump their copies.

They are also offering free fixed price listings through the 18th, so it doesn't hurt to try.
 
It's not a great flip, but Mass Effect trades in for $10 at Gamestop. With the current 30% bonus for a preorder, you can get $13 for it. If you price-match Best Buy's website in the store, you can get it for $8.

Mass Effect $8 > $13 at Gamestop.
 
The select GS stores competing with BB are going to be having 50% trade in bonus starting this friday & next week b2g1. This pattern should alternate for several weeks.

Well I guess we should start rounding up all the good BBY>GS flips.

So the stores that did the b2g1 over the last few weekends should be doing the 50% as well?

I just got my b2g1 new games welcome BBY coupon so maybe there will be something useful there. it expires in Nov so its not that useful for me.

I think this thread is not very active because people do not really want gamestop credit. The gamestop to best buy thread took off because of the @gamer deals.

We need to combine the threads into a single thread I feel. Not sure who would want to do it, but if its a wiki thread shouldn't be an issue updating it.

Frankly there is a ton of talk about BBY>GS as that is how most people increase their credit.

Cash>GS>BBY>GS>BBY>GS etc. Start with X and increase to Y by going to multiple trade in places.

I hope this thread gets some more action. For now though it seems like there aren't that many good BBY>GS flips even with the 50% bonus TIV at a few GS's this weekend. Need a good @gamer sale or 50% at all GS and B2G1 at BBY at the same time again.
 
Only have Best Buy, Amazon, and Game Stop credits so I'm out for real money Kmart deals. Thank anyways OP but just please make the GS to BB the official flip thread for flipping to anywhere.

If you can PM Best Buy's Mass Effect online price of $8 in store, you can then trade it in to Gamestop for $10 + bonuses. With the 50% and the 10%, I got $16 for it, and I traded 2. One yesterday, one today.

Thank you so much ChunLiBarbie. This was great. As soon as I read this post, I went to BB to buy 2 Halo Reaches and a Pokemon game. That became about $75 worth of GS credit, which became a lot BB credit thanks to a gamestop store specific B2G1. Also thanks again to everyone who contributes to this thread and the OP.

Thanks CLB, I was actually able to find 3 of these titles in stock. The location near me must've gotten a used re-stock bc I know these titles were not there on Monday (I already picked up Bully this week, but couldn't find any other worthwhile titles to flip).

You should have definitely gotten the B2G1 to apply, but only if you bought used games. A B2G1 for new games 59.99 and under starts this Sunday.

It's on their site. Should have been automatically applied. I did store pick up and the system gave me my b2g1 and 10% GCU pre-owned discounts, automatically.

That buy 2 get 1 free pre-owned coupon might expire on my, lmao. Seems like I decide to use it during 1 of their b2g1 sales!:lol:

holy shit, I went to best buy and saw most, if not all those titles that chunlibarbie listed and thought that getting 3 halo reaches and trading them in to GS was a good flip... until I saw chuns list. wowowowoww i really hope they dont lower the TIV tomorrow, or I will be a very sad panda. Definately waking up right before gamestop closes tomorrow and giving them a call to ask for the TIV since I don't have class tomorrow :)
